What exactly is the debate? It looks to me like no one did anything wrong. There is no responsibility or any mistakes, unless you expect to take JINX's response as a lie. I do not think anyone here is in a position to make a judgment like that =/

I am very sorry for the confusion and would like to send you out a set of the dungeon role tees if you would like them. Send me over your size, whether you would prefer regular or premium tees, and an address for shipping, and I will get them out to you right away.
So, did you take the offer of getting your free T-shirts? Just curious. I'd call that a more than fair trade-off, to be honest. :)

so you had an idea that someone else already had and want to profit from it?
GUISE, I've made this amazing thing that can let you talk to people really far away. Can I have money now?

It's hardly an ethical issue. Consider, you entered the contest knowing that:
1) Jinx were entitled to use your designs for their t-shirts, irrespective of whether you won.
2) Your compensation for giving them the rights to your designs was the chance to win awesome gear packages.
That's basically it. You sold your designs for a lottery ticket. Is the lottery ethical? Yes, as long as the rules are followed and people know what they're getting into.

One could actually argue that the lottery isn't ethical, as it can be seen to exploit less intelligent people... :P
