Reaver tanking (32 reaver, 18 pally, 16 war)
Wile studying the tanking trees you may have notice all to good damage mitigation talents is at the bottom of the trees, however all the CDs, AOE, and are at threat at the top. Meaning most tanking build never put more than 30 points in a single tree.
I put that knowledge to good use when putting togather a Tank that had consistent damage mitigation with out wasting points Deep in the trees. AOE aggro is the only issue if rift as far a aggro is condenser so I chose reaver for most of the classes Damage abilities. I sub spec'ed in to Warlord to Call to Entrench which alone nets a flat 8% damage mitigation (5% group), 10% armor, 5% block chance, and 8% Dodge. I the put all of the remaining points in to Paladin up to 3/5 Unyielding Defense.
Note: Shroud of Entropy is 35% damage reduction for 10sec on a 1 min DC. It was not taken in favor of all the consistence damage reduction provide in warlord and pally.
Note: Not many threat talents where taken do to reaver's high threat out put.
Note: Crippling Infestation was only chosen as best filler, Other choices are 2/2 improve Master of the abyss and +1 Entropic Embrace. I feel Crippling Infestation adds more mitigation than Master of the abyss
Note: if you are not hit caped you should pick up 3/3 Graceful under Pressure in place of Unyielding Defense

100% of Soul Sickness Damage (Dot, can be cast on more than one target with Plague Bringer)
100% of Creeping Death damage (2 min CD, AOE Damage up to 10 targets.)
100% of Master of the Abyss (2 min CD, AOE Damage up to 5 targets)
Touch of Life, 100% of caster HP (10 min CD)
Target Stat Debuffs
-5 % physical hit chance, Blood Fever
-5% attack power and Spell power, Binding of Atrophy
-539 armor, Ravaging Strike
