Methinks people need to return to Northrend to remind themselves what the Magnataur are, where they come from, what they stand for and what they're capable of. Namely, eating all of us. They're beasts and subjugating them is no worse then using gryphons or wyverns as taxis.
Actually....they aren't; the Magnataur understand pretty well just what the Orcs want them to do; they may not 'talk' but they are still intelligent, which they prove by how they use improvised weapons against the Alliance army.

That being said, I sincerely doubt Knaak could write a Horde-centric (as in, the faction, not just a race or two or else the challenge is easy as he'll pick the blood elves) book.
Eh, from what he was doing in Wolfheart, Stormrage, and the Saga of Trag Highmountain(lots of Tauren and Taunka in that one as well) I think he could pull it off, just needs to combine the elements from all.

Krasus.Sadly died in Twilight of the Aspects.
Tyrande becoming a damsel in distress. Is no longer true; she's back to normal now.
as opposed to the other class mangas (Shaman and Death Knight).Um....Death Knight is primarily the story of Thassarian, and Shaman was really disappointing as it was more about the Elements against Shota the Fire Elemental Tauren.

Varian, about the Orcs....and that view hasn't really changed.
He said he hated the orcs and wanted to dismantle the horde to where there no longer a military threat as far as I'm aware. And I also don't recall him acting on said desires. Saying you hate a group of people doesn't mean you want to commit genocide on them all.
But....that's the exact same thing Garrosh says......so which is it?

You double posted lol, but how is varian saying he hates orcs the equivalent of garrosh saying he wants to take over the world? I will admit however that this is a better portrayal of garrosh than other media, as he is actually shown as intelligent, but he still says he wants to take over the world, even in this book. Let's not try to whitewash it, the guy wants world domination.
Because Varian wants to take the lands away from the orcs, put them back in camps, sunder the Horde, destroy all of the Forsaken(okay that one I don't have a large problem with), and do who knows what with the Trolls, Tauren, Goblins and Blood Elves....more or less the same thing Garrosh wants, just insert Alliance races in the places.

Still the same thing as Garrosh declaring the Horde will take the lands of the Alliance; you can't really call Garrosh 'evil' for it, then excuse Varian for saying the same thing.

No....Varian has just spoken out against the Orcs multiple times, stating he wanted to kill Thrall, gather up all the Orcs in Azeroth and either a) put them back into the interment camps or b) 'get rid of them all'(let's be honest, that means just what it sounds like).
Yes, Garrosh made a stupid move with the Magnataur, but if you notice, it's not 'Garrosh rules the world!' it's the "Horde rules the world as it was meant to".
