My favorite Holiday is Brewfest. It matches my toon, being a dwarf and always drunk. Plus you can get a Kodo carrying kegs! How awesome is that?
My favorite has gotta be Hallow's End. :D I love Halloween IRL so it's natural for me to love it in game.
This is a tough one... I think all the winter holidays are done very well. Starting with Brewfest, and the Drunken Stupor achievement being the most challenging of all of them. Hallow's End brings us a fantastic take on Holloween, and a great opportunity to see the countrysides of all of Azeroth, collecting candy from all over. Earning the coveted Turkinator achievement during Pilgrim's Bounty is always a favorite activity, and the BB King achieve in Winter Veil is such a blast. All in all, I have to say that of those mentioned above, Winter Veil with its many present based activities, takes the prize and is my number one favorite. Just like the real holiday events, its something to always look forward to, especially on those colder winter days and nights snuggled up next to the warmth of the gaming rig! Besides, who doesn't love throwing snowballs at people!
My favorite would have to be the Feast of Winterveil. Every year we get a new little toy to play around with.
Winter's Veil....because my last name means "Christmas" in Italian....though Hallow's End is a close second as I love ghost stories!
Childrens Week- helping a child experience something different ice cream is always yummy although i am surprised to see them run after you when u mount up(they should give them mini mounts :D)
I choose Children's Week. When I first started playing, WoW had been around for a few years. My brother told me about Children's Week and took me to get an orphan to take around the continent. Here we were, traveling from place to place because the orphan wanted to see the dam in Loch Modan or he wanted to see the King. I saw a lot of areas that I had not explored yet and had a great time with my brother. I got my first pet (Mr. Wiggles) which led me to start a serious collection that has climbed to 161. I was able to make an orphan happy and got a pet as well. I try my best to take the orphans out every year to do my part in cheering up their sad little lives. Maybe when they grow up they will have fond memories of that druid that took them out for ice cream.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?Absolutely Brewfest, because there's so many fun prizes and quests to do to pass the time, usually beer based and it's a place to hang out with friends while waiting for the dungeon queue. Not to mention that dwarves are hilarious if you read the quest text. There's also the two mounts that you can get (which I am a collector of) and the epic trinkets you can get. It also gives my favorite reward, the pony keg, which is often brought out before a raid encounter, so we may have fun trying to dodge fire in. Favorite activity: Getting completely smashed, getting on all brewfest clothes + giant growth elixir, and hopping on my kodo, then stalk random bystanders as they try to complete their quests. Kinda trolly, but it's not like I'm hurting anything. Just following them. So yea, that's my favorite holiday, and now with drunkard pandas coming out in the new expansion? Gunna be even better.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?Hallow's End. It was the first holiday that I played that had a great boss; the other holiday bosses seem a bit bland in my opinion. And the rewards are excellent too - the standard holiday item (rings in this case), but also an awesome sword for agi users, a plate dps helm, AND one of the coolest mounts in the game. Also because I'm a huge fan of Halloween irl.
Not sure if it counts, but Talk like a Pirate day is always a great time. Arrrr
HALLOW'S END! Halloween isn't celebrated here in Australia, so this is the closest I get to a pumpkin-filled costumefest!
