I usualy play a healing class and prefer a priest or a cleric. Ik like the priest look in most games and like the way they play.
I always end up trying everything anyway, but I always start with*drumroll*ARCHER! There is just something about the archer/hunter-archetype that has always appealed to me. Companions are optional, but I always need to check out the tactical gunslinger first in any RPG. So far I've also completed Oblivion three times with different varieties of Alchemy/Marksman-focused toons :PIf archer isn't an option, gogo any caster.
I enjoy playing Ranged dps or healer classes, something like druid or hunter. Since I play from India and most MMOPRG servers are in US, etc., I have a very high latency, so Melee classes are not very fun to play. Ranged classes do allow to play around the latency a bit.
Hi all, :), Myself, I usually play the melee based classes, normally a warrior based class but also enjoy playing rogues.Warriors I enjoy these because you are getting up close and personal. I also enjoy the tanking aspect of melee classes, making sure that I am very hard to take down, aoe'ing lots of enemies down with aoe skills, and keeping enemies occupied on me, so my party/friends can pew pew them down, ;p.Rogues/warrior dps, I also enjoy because I dislike keeping at range, like kiting mobs etc, I enjoy keeping on the enemies toes, wether they be npc's or real live players, in pvp action, I think that an enjoyable aspect of the melee dps class is just to keep attacking and keeping on the enemies toes, as in my opinion other players can get annoyed from this way of playing, and this gives the melee player an edge in combat imo.But anyway's, keep up the good work on wowhead. I'm always using this site as my number 1 site for news, researching new items etc, for WOW related content.Thankyou, :)
A melee brawler. Anything that can get right in the thick of things.
my favorite class is ofcourse the warrior i love melee :D
Baldur's Gate was the first RPG I ever played and it is still my all time favorite game. I started as a Berserker (Warrior) and I've loved the class ever since. My first play through of any RPG now is a warrior. When I'm not destroying my foes with a giant axe or sword, I'll sneak up on them and take them out silently from the shadows. The diverse talent and class system in KoA will make for some very interesting game play. :D
I usually play rogue or any other subtle class. The demo was fun. Already made a rogue in Kingdom of Amalur.
I love to play healers/buffers. I like having the self-reliance and flexibility that healing grants, and I like being able to fold into just about any group and make what I provide worthwhile.
Warrior ! Shields will always be my bestfriends in battle ! Both offensive and defensive !
I tend to go with the ranger-type classes, going with the exploration and range element. On table-top RPG's, though, I gravitate more towards melee with hafted weapons like polearms for control.
Through my many years of games and RPGs I find I am suited to no single class, however, I like to focus on ranged-attacking and casting classes over melee even though I can play them all. Healing hasn't brought me any enjoyment thus far and tanking for is boring unless doing it as a certain class. I tend not to go for "evil" or "shadowy" classes such as Warlocks or Rogues, but rather prefer Lawful or Neutral types, such as Paladins, Hunters, Magi and Warriors. All in all it depends on whether I end up Levelling them or not.Off-Topic: Anyone think this game looks awesome? It has a nice blend of smooth "cartoony" graphics along with what seems to be a nice UI and good looking Gameplay. I may actually play this one.
although my preferred characters in WoW are ranged classes, RPGS bring out my inner rogue. In games like Skyrim I just love to clear out a whole bandit camp without being seen once or trying to backstab as many people in a dungeon as I can, even when stealth fails I can count on my two daggers to finish off my opponent. From what I've seen in Kingdoms of Amalur my inner rogue will not be disappointed
