Ad hominem. Ad hominem and ad hominem because of ad hominem. I would provide logic, but ad hominem and ad hominem. Lol ad hominem.
What nearly everything you say looks like through the reality filters I have that kick in when I see you reply to a thread. My problem is everyone talks about those bad Muslims, however, no one talks about Muslims, same goes for Christians, good guys don't make the news. And O'Reily just makes ratings talking about bad Muslims, same for Gingrich, and this is the problem. He says truth (exaggerated and half-assed, but truth), but does not provide full big picture...
Agreed. News should be more positive, on all accounts. It would make life nicer for me.

So...you disagree that talking heads like O'Reily, Limbaugh, Gingrich don't play off buzz words and do their best to whip up furor? /shrug Fine, that's your choice.

I'm actually having trouble understanding what you are even talking about. I'm just going to go ahead and not reply to any more of your "ad hominem" posts because I can't even read them through all the "ad hominem".

You know, acting like this is just as bad as HSR at times.
Fine, whatever MyTie; as that comment wasn't for you and for Boron in regards to O'Reily, I guess it just doesn't matter.

See now, this is actually MORE ad hominem.
In the off chance that you don't know what I'm talking about when I say "ad hominem", it means to argue against the person, instead of the person's arguments. You've been in this thread for 5 minutes now, and you haven't brought anything of value or merit. All you've done is complain about people. Everyone from Rush Limbaugh to HSR. It doesn't help the discussion. Seriously. Bring something of value, or go away.
Edit:
Zimmerman plans to plead not guilty
. What will be the reaction in the African American community if he is acquitted of murder? Speculation?

Rage and anger, same as there would be any time an assumed murder gets away with their crime, just gonna be worse cause the 'spiritual' leaders will be calling for 'justice' and we all know how that ends.

Orranis ~ Would you say that half of all Christians want to ban homosexual marriage?
=D This is gonna be fun. It's just a matter of time before you have to concede something negative about a large population and then I can get you for... how do you say it... "perpetuating bigotry". For now we will use groups it is socially acceptable to point out obvious negatives about, and currently, Christians top that list.
I have no idea. Especially considering you have a very personal definition of "Christian" from what I see. I really don't know enough of the statistics to make a claim about exactly how many Christians are for or against gay marriage.

As far as I know, everybody born in the USA has African roots.
what
My family is German, Irish, Scottish and English, and that's it. Nothing else from anywhere.

It's pretty much unheard of to have pure "European" descent, without any African. I have brunette hair, so I have some African somewhere in my family tree. It came during many of the conquests of Europe. Often, these conquests involved mass slaughter of the men and rape of the women.
Edit: So yeah... sometime a long long time ago, a black man from Africa, my great great great great great great great great grandpa raped my great great great great great great great great grandma after he killed her husband.
Edit Edit: Actually, due to this, does society place any black guilt on the currently alive black people? That would be on par for the idiotic double standards it uses on white people of today.

I think he talks about way before that...
I can trace those lines back to about 1200 AD.
But whatever.

I think they are referring to the idea that all of humanity possibly comes from somewhere deep in what is now Africa.

I was aware of that. I feel, however, that the time difference is so vast as to render any lineage negligible.

Same as the reaction from the white community when OJ was acquitted of murder. Though, if the defence team compiles conclusive evidence (medical report showing Zimmerman had substantial injuries, witness testimony saying that Martin attacked Zimmerman while Zimmerman was inspecting a sign), then there will be less furore I'm guessing.
By the way, it's O'Reilly, lole. I don't think negatively characterising people based on religion is racist, it's discrimination by creed. It's not incompatible with racism or ignorance though. One person's comments in particular stand out, those of Robert Kilroy-Silk. He claimed that British troops were fighting Arabs in Iraq and Afghanistan: however, Afghanistan is not part of the Arabic peninsula.
It may be worth noting one of the
firm allies
of an Arabic dictatorship, which is the host country of Mecca and 15 of the 19 September 11th hijackers.
If one believes the current evolutionary synthesis, we all originated in Africa. I don't think it's a trivial point to make, because it refutes notions from Gobineau that we were all assigned to a particular continent and that racial admixture is a grievous assault on nature. Well, Caucasians in North America should disprove such notions too.
