I am not entirely sure either, and they of course have subgroups and individuals with different beliefs. But I think I can be pretty sure that they aren't the kind of guys that fight for equality.
A safe bet.

A debate on a heated issue like racism, no less. I'm so proud.

It seems very racist.
On the other hand, a document from the KKK seems reasonable.

Roland Martin seems to think that
the advertising company that works for Acura is wrong for asking for
"light skinned African Americans". I don't see the problem. What would be wrong in asking for "tan white people", other than the fact that you are asking for white people and that is racist against African Americans? It seems very racist.
On the other hand, a document from the KKK seems reasonable.
No. It seemed racist too. I see points in both that I would agree with, though. I see points in both I don't agree with. That's part of the gift of being able to think for myself. I can evaluate what is said on its own merit, without seeing "KKK" and immediately ducking and covering.
The KKK puts out a racist flyer against anyone not white and it makes the news while people lament in the street, wailing about the injustice. You link a racist video against white people and it is socially acceptable. I can't say either is productive or right, but what I'm pointing out is the social double standard. Racist toward one group of people is fine, but racist to another is plain wrong.

Why no one screams discrimination when advertisers use blond people over red haired ones?
Because hair colour is not a protected class for employment discrimination as explicitly delineated in the Civil Rights act. Neither is weight, nor appearance.

Why does being a "protected class" mean that people cannot be chosen from that class to conform to who they want to advertise for them? And, perhaps the demographic of people they are trying to reach is people attracted to lighter colored African Americans. Why is that a problem? If lighter colored skin in African Americans is generally considered more attractive (and it is), why can't they desire that for their ads? Why wouldn't they want that? I just... I think this is over sensitivity in the race issue. Besides, I reject that someone is a "protected class" and someone else is not. Am I in an "unprotected class"? That, in itself, is friggin racist as it gets, but its cool because that's accepted. I find it so hypocritical and stupid of society to have these double standards. I reject them. Entirely.
If ad company wants a blonde haired blue eyed girl to ad for their desk company, I'm not gonna get pissed because I'm a dark hair, brown eyed dude. It's just... I have more important things to worry about than to VICTIMIZE MYSELF AT EVERY TURN, which is what I believe this is. Self victimization. And, I don't believe people get anywhere by feeling sorry for themselves. I especially don't believe people get anywhere by feeling sorry for themselves for what was done to their ancestors.

You won't believe it, but here I agree with you. For me there are two types of racism: direct and forced. Direct when actions or words actually imply certain race being inferior. Forced is when so called victim is claiming racism, without any reason. Self-victimizing as you said.
I've never found anyone that I disagreed with on everything. There is common ground between myself and every other human, from Jesus all the way down to Angela Davis.

Racism is bad.
What a wretched little post.
You need to expand on it. What do you mean by racism? What is bad about it? I believe racism is anything that differentiates between the races, which itself isn't bad. Let's consider the fact that black culture has produced some of the best cuisine and music available. That statement, I believe, is racist. It isn't bad, though.

to fail or refuse to hire or to discharge any individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of such individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin;
Sure, they can specify light-skinned African Americans. Then as soon as they refuse to hire someone because they're not a light-skinned African American ("color"), they can apply to the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission as Acura will be in breach
of the law
.
