Faithbender Praey & Nuhm Voidcaller
Dalaran
"Yes," Nuhm said to Kiran, nodding. "And Paladins are the
worst
," he agreed, rolling his eyes.
Praey shrugged. "Ah don' tink dey ah so bad," she commented, thinking about a young Paladin who frequently buys mana from her to sate her addiction.
Nuhm shrugged and rolled his shoulders, focusing back on Talia. "News? Do you have any word on these scrolls being passed around regarding the Blacks?"
Praey tapped one of her pointed tusked and watched Kiran curiously, wondering if he would catch her eye.

"Ugh, sadly." Talia said, covering her face. "Direct order from my mentor to go looking for him; that's why I'm dragging the newbie around." She said, pointing at Kiran. "I've heard there were some Twilights spotted in Grizzly Hills, so we plan to head that way next. Hopefully we can capture one and grill it for information." She told the Blood Elf.
Kiran felt his face growing warmer as he looked up and then back down, wondering why the Troll woman was staring at him.
She's quite exotic.
He thought to himself, the flush creeping down his neck.

Character:
Leopold Chopin, Damon
Location:
Durotar
Leopold is a tall and thin flamboyant man, with a bright, high collared red coat open over a white undershirt and black pants. Frills explode from his collar and sleeves like plumes of white, a similar shade of feather lifting merrily from a large black cavalier hat which barely fits on top of his thick, rolling white hair.
Damon dresses as he is, conservatively. Wearing black robes which stretch from his stiff collar to his knees and pants of a similar colour, he wears an expression of perpetual boredom, often tinged with disdain. He is bony like his companion with a long face and thin black hair neatly combed back in a widows peak.
"Damon!"
"Sir?"
"How did I get up here?" Leopold called down from the tree branch he was currently lying upon.
"You climbed up there, sir," Damon replied, his eyes remaining riveted to the pages of the book he held before him in one hand.
"Ah! Yes, quite right. By the by, there appears to be a cart approaching. Pulled by worgs, I think, nasty beasts that they are. Hullo? Looks like a cage with a... harpy... feathered... thing? I believe, perhaps." Damon looked up casually from his book, blinking at the sight of the approaching cart and its drivers. He sighed, snapping his book shut with one hand and stowing it in a plain pouch.
Things were about to become complicated.
Character:
Gunter Soreson
Location:
Stormwind
Gunter is a tall, broad man wearing dull grey plate armour and wielding a large one handed hammer and shield. He has bright orange hair he wouldn't deign to cover, preferring to go about bare faced with his thick orange beard open for all to see. His warhammer and shield are plain, and in fact the only thing he wears that is elaborate is a single Libram he keeps chained to his waist, the gold filigree and metal itself having been worn by constant handling.
Gunter stared at the notice board, eyes riveted upon the posted which had drawn the crowd and its attention. Smatterings of conversation made itself out to him from the people about.
"Black dragon?"
"You heard? A reward!"
"Do they want him dead?"
"Maybe, he is a black. Can't see anyone wantin' anything else from it."
Gunter stood very still for a long moment as these words washed over him in a wave. Then his mouth split open in an impossibly wide grin.
"Aha! A new and glorious quest hath been handed down upon me from the most beneficent heavens! Glorious Light, I thank thee for thine blessed gift of providence and purpose bestowed upon thine unworthy servant! Upon my life, I shall find this agent of darkness, and smite him most thoroughly!" Gunter bellowed, startling several people who stood beside him. The man spun about, marching off, monologuing as he went.
"But alas! I have no clues for the beginning of my quest! Hullo, a tavern? Aha! Of course, surely there will be those who might aid me in my mission within! A horse, the heavenly kingdoms for a horse!" Gunter bellowed as he strode toward the tavern and barreled his way inside.

Narun looked at the man who walked into the tavern, "Clumsy one aren't you, Lad?" He laughs as he continues to drink the ale. He leaned back on the counter, grumbling under his breath.

"What? Clumsy? Never! How can one stumble when the Light illuminates their path?" Gunter demanded as he strode to the bar and planted himself on a stool.

"Well, I'm always up for a.. persuasion session," Nuhm mumbled, reaching up and stroking his goatee lightly. "Would you be up for a little company? Four is better than two, we can hold our own." He looked at Praey, smirking when she saw him staring at Kiran. "Right love?"
Praey grinned, her gaze lingering on Kiran for a few more seconds before turning to the blood elf. "Righ'," she said, absently reaching up and adjusting her thick septum ring. "It'd be fun. Maybe we can get a little group goin'."
((adjusting my septum ring is one of my bad habits, its always crooked xD))
Llynarai Runesong
Howling Fjord
"Stay here Shiboo," Llynarai told the sabre, giving him a pat on the head. "I'm just going out for firewood before the snow gets too bad. I'll be back in a few minutes." Llynarai pulled the hood up over her head again and wrapped the cloak tightly around her before heading out of the little cave. Shiboo took this opportunity to stretch out and roll on his back, purring contentedly.
Llynarai gazed upwards, snow falling and landing on her nose and eyelashes. She sighed, hoping the storm would be over soon. The huntress was never a fan of snow, and just wanted to get on with trying to find these dragons. As she walked she would bend down and grab dead sticks and twigs from the ground, humming to herself as she did so.
Ashiena
Grizzly Hills
Finally, after weeks of waiting day after day, he came.
Arcturis was larger than Ashiena ever imagined, he towered over both her and Doof and his teeth were each as large as her forearm. His blue-white body faded in and out of sight, as if balanced between planes.
He's a spirit beast, not amongst the living or the dead...
the huntress reminded herself, staring at his huge form in awe. As the wind picked up, the smoke-like substance that appeared to make up his body swirled and dispersed, only to be replaced once more.
The large spirit bear looked upon Ashiena, waiting for her to act.

"That is a good idea; always better to have more people around...especially when things get hectic." Talia said with a slight grin, watching Kiran turn the most interesting shade of red. "What's that they say, you don't have to out run the beast, just the slowest member of the party?" She chuckled.
"Um, they are going to be traveling with us?" Kiran asked, trying to get his blushing under control. He looked over at the sound of a stool being knocked over and saw a hooded figure at the bar.

Praey grinned, knowing full well she was making the elf-but-not-quite-elf feel awkward. "Well is up tah you guys," Praey said, winking at Kiran and laughing. "He always dis shy?" she asked Talia.
Nuhm smirked, watching the young figure trying to order a drink at the bar and fumbling all over the place. "You're doing it wrong!" Nuhm called, laughing. The waitress brought the table their drinks, and Nuhm took a sip of the delicious wine.
A large, armored Orc approached the group, and both Praey and Nuhm turned his attention to him. After listening, they both turned back to Talia and Kiran, waiting for them to answer.

"Dunno, just met him earlier today; told he was on loan to the Tor from the Temple and I had to keep him alive whether I want to or not." Talia told the Troll, watching the action at the bar then turned to the Orc. "Depends; are you willing to work with a pair of half-high elves?" She asked the orc.
Kiran had managed to get himself under control and was looking at the orc with a slight frown, his hands clenching into fists under the table.

Nuhm laughed, crossing his arms as he grinned at the boy. "Are you even old enough to drink?" he questioned teasingly.
Praey swatted his arm and the Blood Elf recoiled, looking at Praey with a hurtful look. "Ouch.." he muttered.
"Be a nice elf boy," Praey said with a nod, patting the top of his head. Nuhm swiped at her hand and missed, and the priestess chuckled before turning back to the orc. "Well, dat sounds good den. Should we put out a call fo' mo' people?" Praey asked, looking at the group before focusing on Kiran again. "Or will it be... jus' us?" the priestess added, winking at the male again and breaking into a huge grin.
Llynarai Runesong
Howling Fjord
Llynarai stopped, her ears twitching underneath her hood.
Someone's there,
she thought to herself, quickly drawing her bow and arrow and raising it towards the source of the noise.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" she called, her eyes scanning the forest in front of her. Snow was beginning to come down even harder now, hindering her eyesight. "Show yourself!" she repeated, her voice strong and unwavering.

"Suppose that would depend on what comes up; I always seem to meet the strangest people on my trips, so I don't really plan for companions, they just happen." Talia said, standing up and noticing Kiran's clenched fists. She leaned over, blocking the view of the others and dropped her voice. "What's wrong?" She asked.
"Orc." Kiran grunted as he forced his hands to relax and stood up. "Just...old memories; I can handle this." He told her and flushed a little at the wink and grin Praey gave him. "And if we pick up more, that would be better wouldn't it? Since we are going hunting for dragons."
