Blizzard don't want this game to be anything other than a MMO so you are wasting your time trying to change that.
What they want is nice and all, but who cares? When you create something and put it out into the world, it becomes what it is used for. You can sell me two round rocks connected by a piece of iron and tell me its an exercise device, but when I put it on my desk it is now a paperweight and your protestations to the contrary mean nothing.
If every single one of us decided tomorrow to do nothing but fishing, WoW would be a fishing simulator, and it doesn't matter at all how Blizzard felt about it.

I second this. But I don't think Blizzard explicitly wants this to be a strictly MMO game. Just look at the "nerfs" to classic raids. They made all of them possible to solo. That has nothing to do with "MMO-gaming"

So someone actually sees something positive in CRZ play. What I see is a pack of $%^&*!bags who left their manners at home. It's not their server, so they have no incentive to actually contribute anything. On the contrary, they take what they want and leave. Why roll a toon here, when they can just crash the party anytime they want? The whole point of having different servers was to accommodate different people/playstyles. THESE PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN SERVER. Let them go home to it.
What we forget is that we are the consumers and that does give us rights. If I want to play on a low-population server where my only companions are NPCs, that's my right. A monthly fee says that within the TOS, I do have the right to decide how I'm going to play and with whom. And to complain. Trust me, that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Saying you have a right to play by yourself..doesn't quantify in you owning the server.
You seem to be single handily dictating who can and can't be on your server and even though they are forced on to your server by CRZ and have to make do all the same, you seem to be labeling all CRZ players in the same light, .. Seems petty and small minded to me.
Your subscription gives you a right to log on...nothing more.
I know CRZ is not in everyone's taste, but Blizz isn't going anywhere with it.
Better to assume they will continue to enhance its features and one day blur the line between servers until we are defined by battlegroups.
If crowded servers are not your thing, perhaps you should reconsider your subscriptions.

CRZ on PVE servers is a nightmare. Realm gypsies all over the place making questing longer, getting rare pets a nightmare etc etc etc. The situation in Slithius with the Qiraji Guardling is a nightmare, its like a swarm of cockroaches has descended, totally imbecilic, CRZ is like coming home to find your house broken into and the perpetrators still there enjoying the fruits of your home. Bad. I liked my realm, but not now, the minute this came in, all the problems that have come up were pretty self evident. If I wanted to go to a high pop realm, id roll on there, or a low pop one. Most surveys on forums show that around 60% of players would opt out of CRZ if they could, that's quite an hefty majority. And the increase in bad behaviour and language.....well. Keep your vermin to their own realms please Blizz, you kicked all the idiots out of mine, and now its gone to pot again. Have a word

Only a tiny percentage of players use the forums.
So polls like these are not worth much because the silent majority are not represented.
Some people don't get how polls work and therefore assume they are an absolute as opposed to being deliberately tailored to a tiny demographic by someone with a clear agenda.
Without a doubt a few people hate CRZ with a passion, the rest of us don't care enough to respond to posts or polls complaining about tiny issues that only affect a few people.
I'm with you civgw in that other than the odd guild murmur when CRZ first came out, I have heard nothing since, in trade, in zones, in guild. It's only the squeaky hinges on the forums who seem to spend more time bemoaning the feature than they do actually playing.
