Kitanga rolled out of the path of the arrow, growing frustrated.
"Any ideas?" Gurka called out to Vashadya. "I can't think of anything except 'Keep fighting her until she goes away like last time.'"

"We should get the children out of town first, but I do not know what we should do after that," Vashadya answered, watching the apparitions surge through the town with dismay; "if only we could get her attention or occupy her for long enough that the townspeople escape."

"We could try luring her out of town," Gurka suggested, tearing apart one of the roaming lesser spirits. "I think she's after Dag'rema. Kitanga, do you want to stay here and help evacuate, or come out and fight her with us?"
Kitanga thought for a moment, but hardly had any time to think. "If you and, uh, the priestess... can hold your own against her, I can stay here and thin out these spirits. I think Silver-Pelt and the other worg have the children."
Gurka nodded. "Then we have to find Dag'rema before Nightbane does and get her out of town."
Dag'rema slowly came to, but found herself trapped in a pile of rubble. Between her bruised throat and the bricks lying on top of her, she could barely breathe.

Vashadya Duskwind
Feralas
Vashadya looked between the second spirit and Gurka. To say the fight was going to take some effort on their parts would be an understatement in her eyes, but they had no other choice. "Ready?"

Gurka nodded and took another look around the room, trying to spot where Dag'rema had been. Suddenly she spied a tuft of red-brown hair poking out from a pile of rubble. Stomping her foot and lifting the rubble into the air through the spirit of Earth, she dash over and scooped up the warlock.
"I've got her, Nightbane!" she called out at the spirit. "Come get her!" she added, summoning a pair of wolf spirits to slow the avatar down and then wind walking away from the town as fast as she could.
Kitanga, meanwhile, took to the task of culling the lesser spirits, hacking them apart one by one with her axes.

Gurka kept running, hoping to outpace Nightbane, at least until they were a good distance from the town.
Kitanga took a deep breath, and then called forth a Fire Elemental between her and the spirits.

Gurka kept on going, nodding thanks to Vashadya and finally reaching a safe distance from the town. Laying Dag'rema on the ground and letting her sink into the earth, safely storing her a few meters below the surface. Turning back towards the spectre, she held up her fistblades and braced herself.
