"I have heard you mention the place 'the Light's Hope Chapel', and it had piqued my curiosity. We seem to speak the same language, so I shall ask bluntly, given the connotations of the word 'Chapel', do you worship some sort of a benevolent deity?" Lilith asked, with genuine curiosity.

"Healers?" Celene asked, glancing at Des who nodded, a grin having overcome his normally nervous face. "Well, your most immediate source would be the trolls. But I'm sure you can imagine how that would go." She stated.
"There's Booty Bay." Des mentioned.
"Yeah, if you don't mind getting mugged around every corner." Celene explained. "That's to the south, not a great place to visit. North is a longer walk, but you've got Duskwood, where you can probably find someone in Darkshire. If that fails, further north is Goldshire, where there's definately someone." She nodded. "Beyond that is Stormwind, capital city of the Alliance." She grinend. "It's huge, but there's barely anything you
can't
find there."
"We live in Goldshire." Des added after his sister was seemingly done. "Could stop by our mom's shop and grab more potions."
Celene glanced at the Albino silently, knowing he was making a fairly big assumption that they could just swipe potions from the shop.
Although, she couldn't imagine their mother
not
willing to help.

"Hi." Loki waved before giving Richard a brain duster to the back of the head.
"Oh right. Hi we're the ones that fixed that Thor." Richard said.

"Maybe we could ask grandma to help." Cori offered. "Maybe she could help with some potions and even teach some of the medics here how to use the herbs." Cori suggested.

"Pretty far." Celene admitted. "A day's walk, at least." She explained.
Triberk tapped his finger against his knee, inspecting the wiring within the command center. For all the good the current 'repeairs' had done, it might as well have been held together with duct tape and bubblegum.
"Welp, this ought to be fun." The engineer grumbled, reaching a hand in and more or less ripping out the entire communications module. Lifting up his omnitool, a bright blue flame erupted from it, William's visor tinting a deep golden color with the light as he set to work.

"Well..." Sam commented, she thought for a moment, sighing and nodding. "Alright, I think I can find something for you to do." She said.

"Patience, Mister Loki Greyfang! Everything will be resolved soon," Mickey boomed ominously, driving

forwards. Shortly afterwards they reached the perimeter of the Raiders camp, upon which he called out to the patrols, "This is Sergeant Thompson with two natives!"
"I sense a presence, several of them in fact," Greg informed Eva as they made their way deeper into the jungle. "And they feel... Wrong. I keep having these zombie images appearing in my head."

The trees grew scarcer rapidly, and before long some sort of a road could be seen through, and beyond it, ruins of some kind.
The Spectre dextrously climbed onto a nearby tree, the tallest among its neighbors, to get a better view. And from such a vantage point he sure did, observing the ruins through the advanced ocular systems of his Hostile Environment Suit.
"Sweet mother of mercy preserve us..." Gregory muttered in disbelief. "What
are
those things?"
It was not enough that shambling aimlessly together among the detritus were native terrans, the blueskins with the regenerative blood and some bloated, scaly, serpentine humanoids - they looked more than sickly; the only definition Mandrake could give to these abominations with their skin peeling off, loose chunks of decaying flesh barely attached to the blackened, rotten bones, pus and bile seeping through all the orifices - zombies.
The creatures, whatever they were, unnerved Gregory even more than the terrans infested by the Zerg - those, at least, were still very definitely alive, if warped beyond recognition, - which was bloody saying something.

"It's a lot shorter of a walk." Celene agreed. "But it might be harder to find someone willing to help us out." She sighed.
"Alright, let's see how this works..." Triberk commented, standing back and looking upwards.
Massive satellites stuck at odd angles from the top of the command center; scanning the air above them.
At the click of a button, a light humming sounded from the building itself, the array lighting up and glowing brightly. There was a flurry of sparks; the largest dish suddenly dipping and sliding off the roof with the sound of screeching metal before smashing into the ground below, thankfully not nearby anyone.
"Damn..." William blink, a slight clicking resounding from COLA. "Oh hush! No One asked you!" He shouted at the Predator. Huffing, he brought the controller to his mouth; pushing down on a button.
Static flowed through speakers around the base, and anywhere they were still working aboard the crash. After a moment, Triberk's voice slowly broke through, crackling as he spoke. "Testing, testing. One, two, three..." He began.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your devilishly handsome Head Engineer speaking. I am pleased to announce that we have local communications available. Ladies, please save your fawning for later." He continued, a slight static chuckle coming in as he laughed to himself. "No E-T-A on long range communications yet, but I assure you they're on their way."

Pray wheeled after her brother, catching up finally as Samantha nodded; beginning to move again. The Blue panted a moment, resting her arms.

"Let's do this planet a favor," Gregory muttered darkly, activating his cloaking system, enhanced with the Nyx module that allowed him to keep it up virtually with no effort. He channeled his psionic energy into his warp-scythe, and with a soft crackling sound the twin curved blades sprung to life.
Slipping into the ruins from the side opposite to the one Eva had made her entrance in, the Spectre began, in utter silence, dispatching the creatures; the first to fall was a serpentine monstrosity, its torso bifurcated from shoulder to waist.
"Oh, they are the nicest people! Sometimes even when they are killing other people," Mickey guffawed. After getting no response from the bunker, the sergeant shrugged and drove his vehicle inside the camp.
"You can look, but you cannot touch, mister Richard Grindgear!" the viking pilot warned as they neared the Command Center, the ravaged hulk of
Prometheus
looming behind. Near the entrance, Mickey shut
Nidhogg
down and climbed out. Despite being a good head lower than Richard, the Raider lost none of his confidence.
"Very well, gentlemen, follow me inside!" he said, entering the building.

Des and Celene both looked upwards at the speakers. "Yeah, sounds good." The blue-haired girl nodded, looking back down.
Des lost interest in the speakers soon enough, his gaze drifting back to the medic.

Pray huffed indignantly. "I'm not... that tired..." She panted, arms laying over the sides of her chair like noodles.
The marauder led them through the halls, entering a door marked 'barracks' in massive bolded letters.
Within was a large room, benches along the outside walls with lockers set behind them, large shelving units dotted the floor; stretching all the way to the ceiling as they held ammo, weapons, and marine armors sat at their ends, awaiting activation.
Voices of the handful of men blended together; a deep noise filling the room and forcing anyone curious to pay close attention if they wanted to make out proper words and conversations.
Samantha stood for a moment, letting the men continue without knowledge she was there, until a loud whistle resounded from her armor, freezing everyone who turned to spot the Sargent.
The marauder suit slid open, letting the muscular and well built woman free. She had noteworthy curves, but nothing overly impressive in terms of figure; any admiring marines normally more drawn to her commanding attitude and imposing presence.
She wore heavy brown combat boots, easily adding a couple inches to her height, moving up into a pair of tan camouflage pants, a sleeveless white undershirt that was tucked into them being the only thing covering her torso.
Dog tags dangled off her neck as Ahren dropped down out of the massive suit of armor and onto the floor, eying the silenced men around the room.
"Alright ladies!" She shouted; the marines snapping to attention. "Put your tutus away and get on your big boy pants! We've got work to do and it isn't setting up for the play!" With heavy footsteps, the dark-skinned woman made her way to a locker, popping it open to retrieve her jacket. "And don't bother getting into your nice cozy armor! We're going skin, and I don't want to hear any crying about it!"
It took a moment for the shouting to sink in, but the barracks were suddenly alive again as the men rushed to prepare themselves.

Des watched Nora leave, suddenly blinking at Nico's comment. A look of fear drowned out his face. "We're dead." He commented.
"Probably." Celene nodded. Nervousness seemed to hide behind her otherwise netrual expression, as if the girl simply refused to show it.

Pray blinked at the sudden commotion around the room, men slipping into combat uniforms and grabbing weapons.
Speaking generally, gauss rifles were too large and bulky for the unarmored marines to reliably use; designed with a size suited to the massive red iconic armors. Rather, they retrieved smaller, more compact rifles.
Curving magazines stuck outwards; pointing forward towards the front of the gun, with a grip fro a soldier's off-hand in front of them, the handle and trigger behind them. The majority of the gun was akin to a long rectangle, ridges running down the top of the gun towards the back, and many had scopes or glass sights placed atop to assist in aiming.
"I want at least four men with flamethrowers! We're doing some forest clearing, and here's hoping they're as good against zombies as they are against Zerg!" Samantha shouted, withdrawing a large, double-barreled shotgun. She pumped the weapon, a grenade launcher attached below it.
Checking the ammo in her weapons, the Sargent nodded. She hefted two bags that contained long poles; each around three feet tall with tiny machines that almost looked like crystals atop them. "Don't lose these." She told Rygos and Pray, handing the bags off.
Pray took hers, blinking as she examined the poles.

There was not even the token resistance from the creatures; the two psionics mowed them down like grass, the Terrans' assault relentless and unstoppable. Before long, Gregory found himself face to face with the last monster still standing - it used to be a human, and unlike most of its now twice late compatriots, the rot had not quite blossomed to its fullest. The hapless native stood swaying slightly, its murky eyes staring forlornly into the distance, its lower jaw dislocated and hanging on a braid of bloated sinews.
Allowing himself to vent his frustration for the first time since the encounter had begun, Mandrake let out a howl of anger, decapitating the abomination. Its head flew in a high arc, landing with a sickening wet thud. The body remained upright for a few seconds more, then it too collapsed. Even before it touched the ground, the natural processes of decay that had been so far, somehow, by some unholy sorcery, held in check were already returning, the cadaver withering before the Spectre's very eyes.
Mickey marched into the very heart of the Command Center, announcing his presence with a smart salute and a lungful of air exhaled in one bellow, "Sergeant Thompson reporting, Officer Harvard!"
