Prometheus
Des stumbled a moment, managing to catching himself and hurrying to keep up with Nora.
"About what specifically?" Celene asked, throwing a leather and cloth sheet over Spike's back before climbing up onto the pink raptor. Grunting, the reptile began to head along.
"I really do hate that man..." Triberk muttered. A clicking sound echoed from COLA. "Only the ones that annoy me!" The Engineer shouted in reply.
Admiral Noname, Samantha Ahren, Praegosa
Ares
Pray managed to keep up on her own with the line of marching soldiers, watching as they eventually came to a stop, boots sloshing as they crushed fungus underfoot.
"Alright." Samanatha commented, kicking one of the men in the legs and prompting him to begin handing shovels out to the others. "Scouts report that there's a road a few clicks to the south. We're going to make a path to it, and get it secured." She nodded. "Standard procedure, dig our way there, cut and burn anything that's too big to move out of our way!"
Pointing at Pray and Ryu, she explained their jobs. "You two are placing those down along the edges, give a few yards between each and we should have enough." The marauder told them, turning back to the marines. "And if anything happens to these kids, let's just say zombies will be the least of your worries! Got me?"
"Yes ma'am!" The men shouted, hurrying to get into position for beginning the path.

The Specter's cleansing of the immediate area was very thorough; every object that gave off unpleasant vibes was either being devoured by the fire or resting in the containers meant for Fred. Gregory himself was sitting on a ruined wall a good dozen yards away from the pyre, swinging his legs and watching the flames. He raised his scythe in a silent greeting when he sensed Eva returning.

Lilith opened her mouth, then closed it. She had a myriad of questions, but decided that it was best not to distract their guest. Besides, odds were it would be easier to ply information from this Abygail character the more exhausted she grew.

Fred once again found himself navigating the narrow corridors of the crashed starship, only this time with a little less playfulness and with a whole lot more determination. In a few minutes he stormed into the auxiliary engineering bay, and while he usually didn't make his presence very much known outside of his own sovereign territory the lab, the walk between Triberk and the bay had somehow made him disproportionally agitated.
"Science
officer on deck,
" he declared loudly as he stepped through the bulkhead door to the large hall. "
Make way, dirtwipers, I'm going to do science! And fix this junkpile!
"
The technicians stopped in their motions when the call was made, but as soon as they realised it was only "loopy Fred" they went back to their respective tasks. Fred himself walked with large steps to a console and angrily pushed some buttons. Some readings flashed, and he muttered something to himself as he scanned through several pages of code-like reports at a speed which made it difficult to believe he actually read the text. Then he muttered some more and walked - now much more relaxed - to a maintenance hatch, which he promptly unbolted with a tool from one of the many pockets on his boilersuit.
The next five minutes nothing of the scientist was visible except the worn-out soles of his boots sticking out the hatch.

Soren followed afterwards. "So, if I were to get theoretically murdered, can we at least make it dramatic? An old west style shootout on the streets of a hive of scum and villainy sounds perfect."

"That...does...IT!" Fred called cheerily from within the duct, and the moment he said 'it' the whole room went dark. The sounds of equipment powering down, followed by a silence so awkward it almost condensed into solid form.
Not more than a second later, however, the lights came back on and the machinery began whirring again. The scientist crawled out of the hatch, shut the lid and bolted it fast, then contently marched out of the auxiliary engineering bay without paying heed to the many confused and disapproving looks.

Celene shrugged. "Probably. Let's just try not to get knifed. Or robbed. Or shot." She suggested, following along.
"It, uhm, shoulden't take long after we get over the hills your, uh, crash made to reach the main road." Desidaku mentioned with a bit of hesitation and nervousness. "Then we can, you know, follow it south and hopefully make good time." He jumped slightly at the sight of the other man, hiding on the other side of Nora.
Samantha Ahren, Pragosa
Plaguewood
Samantha nodded, grinning before turning and beginning to direct the marines digging into the ground.
The shovels made disgusting wet sounds, mixed with tearing and ripping noises as the dug into the earth, ripping the tanted ground upwards alongside the roots holding it into the ground; flipping it aside to reveal hardened and lifeless dirt below.
Pray made her way to one side of the large path; at least large enough to fit three of the helions they had seen earlier side-by-side. Grabbing the bag, she planted one of the psi disrupters at the start of the road, eying the darkness beyond cautiously. Glaring at whatever might be hiding within the Plaguewoods, she wheeled back a ways, following the nearest marines closely.
Samantha took a slight lead, flanked by two of the men who had grabbed flamethrowers as she directed them to keep their eyes opened for possible trouble.
It didn't take long for the soldiers to realize that this task would be far from easy; massive mushrooms towering over their heads that would need to be removed by pure force. The Sargent eyed one such mushroom; gigantic and a sickly yellow in color. "Alright, let's take it down!" She shouted, falling back as the two men took position in front of her.
There was a roar as flames erupted forward; coating the obstacle with their fuel and engulfing it quickly. The flames illuminated the darkness, revealing shadows wherever one might look; some vaguely humanoid, and others simply dark masses.
"Orders ma'am?" A marine asked, glancing into the distance nervously.
"Keep going with the path." Samantha instructed. "They can watch all they want, we'll just wait and see how mindless they really are..." She nodded. "And keep an eye on everyone, especially those kids."
"Understood." The man noded.

Maxim Webster
The
Ares
Three rapid bangs on the open door to the makeshift bridge signalled a new arrival, and artillery officer Webster was on "deck". Not that anyone really cared - the ship had neither artillery nor targets in its current state. The man was tall and proper-looking at first glance, with a neat uniform and combed, dark hair, but the ends of his sleeves were rolled up and the shirt underneath was dirty; his hands bore numerous cuts, and his black dress boots had more dirt on them than shiny leather. Under his arm he carried something as primitive as a clipboard.
"Admiral!" he greeted formally, approaching and saluting the rank.

"Closing in on our destination," Zach called back over the intercom. "Whatever is out here should better be bloody worth it. I won't be able to get this sand out of the finish for weeks."
True to his words, a sea of sand spread from beneath the zeppelin, baked into a glistening sheet by the sun overhead which seemed, at least to Zach, several sizes larger than anywhere else. Every few miles, the ground was broken by huge organic structures piercing the sky. Silithids could be seen crawling all over the structure, expanding it and generally being a nuisance.
"Preparing for descent. You all ready? 'Cause I am." He clicked off the intercom, waiting for answers, and doublechecked his gear. Slightly taller than the rest of his family, he stood around 6 feet tall. Straight hair swung around his head and what had once been black in a past part of his life was now blonde. He was, as always, immaculately clad, this time in a grey silk shirt, black trousers and a loose black tie. A shotgun was slung over one shoulder, and a separate ammo belt slung across his shirt. A messenger bag hung from the same shoulder, slung across his neck to be behind him. Inside rested several objects that one of his profession might find useful: A book of known Titan, Scourge and Legion runes, an atlas of leylines, a guide to enchanting weaponry, several arcane looking gadgets and several more boxes of ammo.
If he was going to be stomping bugs, he was going to be prepared.

Celegosa, Desidaku
Stranglethorn Vale
Des peaked out at the marine for a moment, suddenly ducking back behind Nora.
Celene almost entirely ignored the man, continuing on.
Samantha Ahren, Praegosa
Plaguewood
With a crack that echoed out, the massive mushroom toppled, desintigrating and raining ash and cinders downwards as it fell, clearing the way for the moment.
"Next one!" Samantha ordered, pointing to another fungus-humongus that would be in their way. "Let's show them the power of the glorious Dominion!" She commented, the men moving forward with their flamethrowers as the path continued being dug.
Pray had no way to properly defend herself, which frightened the girl as she planted her next disrupter, wheeling back from the darkness quickly.
Admiral Noname
Ares
The Admiral nodded. "At ease." He commanded.
Ferin Hopewell, Alana Greyfang
Ventus
The speaker within the sleeping quarters of the Ventus was suddenly smacked by a pillow, it's assaulter groaning as her sleep was disturbed. "Every time I try to take a nap..." The blue-haired girl pouted.
In her younger years, Alana had been a flat, curve-free, short girl who, from most angles and a fair distance, probably could have been mistaken for a skinny boy. Now, however, she was a flat, somewhat muscular, short girl who from most angles and a fair distance might be mistaken for a skinny boy.
The Half-Dragon rolled to the side, gasping as she toppled onto the wooden floor below.
Atop the deck of the ship, a Half-Elf took up watch, his bare muscular torso glistening with sweat from the heat and sun. His dark skin was lined with runes, some clear and many only making sense to himself.
Ferin tapped his machete against the railing absent-mindedly, eying the land below.

Plaguewood
Pray nodded. "Yeah, I don't like this... they're not moving." She agreed, a shout breaking her thought.
"The hell?" Samantha asked, looking over to where a marine had let out a shout. In the distance, she spotted what had frightened the man.
"Screw this!" The soldier shouted, kicking the statue. A large stone pedestal rose from the ground, the fungus moving up it like moss and only stopping at it reached the statue sitting upon the stone.
The massive bat-like figure glared out at the grouping, perfectly still as the stone flickered with the lights of the fire. Its eyes were made out of some sort of jewel or gem; reflecting the images of the group within them.
"This place is going to give me a heart attack." The marine muttered, stomping off away from the decoration as Sam walked up to examine it.
"Well isn't that interesting?" She commented. "Could bring it home, would make quite the centerpiece at dinner." She smirked, turning back to the men. "Alright, enough site-seeing! Back to work!" She shouted, noticing many had stopped to also look at the statue. Much to her suprise, the men under her command didn't jump to return to clearing the path; continuing to stair.
Chips of stone sprinkled off the figure as it moved slightly, spreading its wings.
"What?" The Sargent questioned, waiting for her soldiers to stop gawking.

"Blueskins working with zombies?" Gregory drawled, hopping down from his perch. He did not doubt Eva's word, of course, simply needing to voice his annoyance by this unsettling planet.
"Those natives Mickey found scurrying near our camp seemed to understand good old English. Think we can take a captive - provided we stumble on a lonesome savage that will not alert us to the army of the walking dead?"

"This should be fun; or it will be, when we look back on it, at least," came a comment from the young man ascending the stairs leading to the lower deck. Azazel Ashwood rolled his broad shoulders after taking the last steps and grinned, revealing a set of white, slightly filed teeth; tall for a human and somewhat short for an Eredar, the gray-skinned progeny of the Keeper of Knowledge was both and neither.
The half-blood seemed to be unperturbed by the heat in the slightest, his riding jacket of thick black leather with steel reinforcements zipped up and his tricorn resting on his head, covering his curved horns as usual. That his flared, weather-stained jeans did not brush against the floor as he walked was mostly due to his thick, metal-capped military-style boots. On each arm he wore an large metal gauntlet; resting dormant on the forearms were slightly curved blades that, when unsheathed and tipping his fingers, would crackle with matter-disruptive energy.
Isaac folded his arms behind his back, striding towards the cabin. He very much wished to see their landing firsthand, from a pilot's perspective.

Lilith tried to focus on her task of finding out more about these natives, but the noblewoman found herself completely in awe of the healing power demonstrated. And unlike the suspicious, disturbed - disturbing, too - psykers and their mind powers, Abygail's Light felt warm and friendly, something that Lilith tried to shake off before she got completely charmed.
"You need not over-exert yourself," she said somewhat clumsily, offering the paladin some water. "You've already done a weeks' worth of job, of a whole medic squad."

"What did I say about the cabin?" Zach complained, taking them down in a gradual ascent. The sands began to grow closer to the viewport as their destination came into sight: a huge crater, marring the smooth surface of the desert in a black, glassed hole. Something seemed to be down in the bottom, though it was hard to tell from the smoke and steam veiling the hair in a hazy cloud.
The zeppelin circled around the crater, getting closer and closer to the ground in each pass, before eventually touching the ground. A minor tremble went through the cabin as they touched, but it came to a fairly smooth stop. "Right, gents, last stop for the day," Zach announced, getting out of the pilot's chair. "Ready to murder some bugs? 'Cause I know I am."

"My aren't we graceful." Came a giggle from above Alana as Calin looked down at her sister. Though she was Alana's twin she was her opposite in appearance having gotten her mother's figure and looks and let her shoulder length blue hair cover the right half of her face. She wore black armor that hugged her curves and had an assortment of weapons and poisons hidden threw out the suit.
"C'mon we landed." She added reaching over and grabbed the small daggers that were tied together and tied them around her left thigh before walking off into the hallway and began to ascend the stairs to join the others.

Alana grumbled and pouted, scrambling to get up and retreiving her gear.
Metal guantlets slipped over her hands, wires extending from a generator on her back and plugging into them. With a hum and a hiss of escaping smoke, the gloves activated; increasing her strength seveal fold and allowing her to lift the two massive sword-looking more like stone pillars ripped out of a Night Elven ruin(which knowing Alana they just may have been)-and strap them to her back.
Each sword bigger than she was, and probably weighing more combined than she did, the Half-Dragon followed up to the deck with a grumble.
