I use Steam regularly to keep in contact with friends who are playing other games who may not be in vent and for the awesome deals they do with game prices. Also use Origin since its required for Battlefield 3.
Not often, I typically only buy games on Steam if I have too. Their downloader is garbage and all the games I've bought had troubles downloading...
No, I don't.
Steam, all the time. Great games, great sales, all in one reliable collection. The social tools are great too.
I use steam here and there, but mostly just play WoW
I use Steam when I actually buy pc games. It's just so nice not having to keep track of key codes.
Steam is my go-to store. Origin only if I have to... and even then I'm launching from Steam. I even launch WoW from steam because it makes it more convenient.
Yes, I use steam for everything.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
No, i only play wolrd of warcraft
I do, but only for playing free-to-play titles while waiting for WoW server maintenance to wrap up.
I use Steam because a lot of the games I play require it :/ although the holiday sales are cool.
I use steam, because it is convenient to not have to go and visit a physical store. Not a big fan of the DRM-side of the coin though.
No, I hadn't heard of steam before. Will have to check it out. Thank
I use both steam and origin, but both on a very rare basis when I am a current subscriber in WoW. I have quite a few games in my steam library, but mostly due to the humble indie bundles. But I have bought quite a few steam games myself, and it's not a bad service, the main issue I find is the automatic update feature which has a habit of messing up mods I may have installed etc.I also use origin on rare occasions, but only due to having DA2 and ME3 installed on my computer, and I sometimes like to go back to those and play them through for nostalgia.
I have Steam, Origin, Uplay and BeamdogSteam: offers many old, interesting and new games at good prices without the hassle of discs taking up space its also an awesome and cheap way to get your old classics like Kotor etc on the pc without going into the attic to search through a million boxes! Origin: Your kind of forced into this if you want certain games, as a service its weak and despicable Uplay: See OriginBeamdog: I almost bust a nut downloading this when Baldurs Gate enhanced was announced
Yes I do use such services. I find that they can be better since you never lose the games you buy, nor can they be damaged. (Who hasn't broken a game before?)
Yes, I use steam to play TF2, Total War games, and Portal. If I didn't love the games so much, I definitely wouldn't though!
