"Let's go, then," Zach said, hugging close to the wall and moving to the right instead. Eventually, a gap in the wall did indeed come into sight. It was around ten feet off the ground, but it had several chunks of rubble and whatnot which would serve as a good hold for a rope.

Ryalith fell again to the ground, breathing hard and staring with undisguised loathing.

Character:
Brakkis Henson (Incendus, Adamantus), Faust Kaufman, George Wick, Tulatin Grimmgear
Location:
Menethil Harbour
"
Oh my.
" Brakkis fell to a knee and smashed the ground with his arm of rock. Stone rose in a shield before him.
Tula appeared not to hear. This was assumed because most people would stop trying to slap the one they are attempting to revive. The exceptions of course being those with a particular beef with the individual in question, or a paramedic who really had simply an awful day.
"My," Faust remarked, twirling his umbrella, watching as the earth fractured and swelled like the water before the prow of a boat. "You are surprisingly articulate in your rage."
The shockwave roared and cracked relentlessly. Or it would have, had Faust not pressed the tip of his umbrella casually to the ground directly before him.
There was a crack as the pavement at the umbrella's tip broke in two massive chunks and buckled upwards, then fell back to rest.
Faust pulled the umbrella back. "But as I said, you are far too weak. If you actually wanted to do some damage..." Faust put both hands upon the handle of the umbrella, then pulled one along its length as though he were unsheathing a blade. Red and purple sparks spun and danced from his hand, and a moment later he flourished a long sword made of metal as red as blood. A cross piece was set with an ivory skull whose ruby eyes glittered in the fires of Menethil as though they were alive, and were delighting in the destruction which they witnessed. A bony handle ended in a pommel like a skull. The weapons guard resembled a ribcage pulled open and reaching protectively about the hand.
Faust grinned a little wider. "You should try something like this."
He tossed the blade. The weapon fishtailed through the air, flashing malevolently in the glow of the burning city. With a silvery sound it embedded itself into the stone before Ohrmuzd like a macabre Excalibur, quivering as though in expectancy, waiting to be pulled.

Character
: Jastiel Vorei, Ohrmuzd
Location
: Menethil Harbor
Jastiel let himself be pummeled for several seconds as he came fully to his senses, then gently yet firmly grabbed Tula by the wrist.
"Pigtails. Stop."
The offer of a Faustian bargain fell on ears deafened by rage, for even as the hatted man shot forth his hand to toss the weapon, Ohrmuzd bolted forward.
A single cypress tree barely higher than the nearby buildings stood forlornly in the square. There was more than a little bitter irony in the fact it had survived the devastation brought by the albino giant with scarcely a broken twig, only for him to tear it out of the ground and snap it in twain. Ohrmuzd hurtled the lower half into Faust and, without waiting for the roots to finish their soil-raining flight, charged with his makeshift maul atilt and ready to smash.

"Nice lassoing," Isaac commented, stepping forward. "Now, seeing as I'm the heaviest and the least nimble save for maybe Zach, if I get across with no problems, we're set. Objections?" he asked, already grabbing the rope and tugging it experimentally.

Soon enough, the duo escaped the chaos; the docks coming into sight. "Alright, now all we need is a raft... a canoe.. anything would do, really." Xander commented; scanning the waters.

"Wow..." Alana sighed, flipping through the pages. "There's... nothing useful in these notes..." She sighed.

Xander dropped down off the horse; rushing along to check the state of some of the smaller vessels. "Come on!" He shouted back to Holly. "I think I found a good one!" He yelled, making his way towards a large, boxy boat floating beside a much larger wreck.

"
How very annoying.
"
"
Oooh, is that a temper I hear?
"
"
Quiet Incendus. Lend some aid, if you would.
"
The red sock seemed to sigh. "
Fine.
" Fire flicked and licked from the sock, sealing the gaps amongst the stone and strengthening their bond into a solid chunk. Even as it did so, rock continued to form and reinforce the shield.
"Yaaaagh!" A cultist who had managed to free himself from the general melee screamed, bringing a black iron mace down towards the Drakonoid's back.
"Oh." Tula lowered her hand. "Hey Blueboy. You awake?"
"Oh really now." Faust's hand lashed out, a ghostly arm of clawed purple smoke swelling from his sleeve and batting the branch away. Grabbing the smoke with both hands, it suddenly firmed into a sleek black cane topped with a gem. Faust held the cane above his head with both hands, a block to the devastating down swing of the branch.

Menethil Harbor
Xander sighed. "The waters are kinda rough, but I'll be able to help with that." He commented, moving to untie the boat and move it into a better position. The water splashed as he dropped down in; grabbing the side of the ship and pulling it closer so Holly could get on.
Glancing off to the side, he gulped at the sight. Dark clouds, already assaulting the town with heavy rains, stretched onwards in all directions. Smaller splashes grew steadily larger around the boy as rain came down harder.
The sky suddenly came alight, a loud boom echoing through the air as lightning flashed down from sky to street. "Well. That's not good..."
The flash of light revealed something quite strange moving beneath the waves, a dark shadow dashing through the town.
It paused a moment, rising up and breaking the surface. At first, it appeared to be a lost cowboy hat. But it continued rising; glowing yellow eyes peeking out and scanning the horizon.

"Your horse... needs to cut back... on the apples." Xander grunted; shoving the boat along out of the dock. Against the hectic waves of the storm, and all logic, the water that the druid swam through was as calm as a bright, sunny day; allowing him to swim through it easily.
Slowly, the ship escaped from the docks; exiting the river's delta into the open sea.
