Ohrmuzd seemingly paid no heed to Faust's voice. He stood still now, his eyes locked with those of the dead woman staring at him from the ground. The giant processed what had just happened, for it has been some time since he had taken somebody's life without the red mist of fury clouding his vision. He wondered briefly why had these three people chosen the life of piracy. He wondered what dreams they used to have, what made them laugh and what made them cry. He realized with cruel, cold detachment that this was idle curiosity and not sympathy, let alone something resembling remorse. There had been an uncounted multitude of possibilities ahead of each of the three - and he had snuffed them all out so easily. The sensation of power was intoxicating, more exhilarating than any carnal pleasure.
But where did this cold come from, then? Why was he certain without knowing the reasons that these were three more faces he would never forget? His eyes closed and his teeth gritted as he stood rigidly upright, his breath a sharp whistling. In the back of his head, a little boy, bloodstained and horrified, was sobbing over somebody curled on the ground in fetal position.
Frigid wind and tempestuous fire clashed inside the albino, and the blazes won, their triumphant roar amalgamating with the Dirge into a white-hot torrent that washed away the doubts and the memories. Ohrmuzd's eyes swung open and he threw his head back, letting loose a long, sonorous roar of his own, challenging the one that had announced his unshackling not a day before.
Ohrmuzd blinked, looking away from the body. He had seen bodies - he had made a lot more bodies than some people had seen living people in their entire lives - and these were no different.
"Then let them shiver in fear from a taste of what is to come," he grinned, resting the Corpse Eater against one of the logs and removing the pot from the fire. "In the meantime, the stew is just about to get cold. And that would be a real shame."

Character:
Twilight Lord Yulop
Location:
Wetlands, Five Miles from Menethil Harbor
Twilight Lord Yulop realized something was wrong when everything went dead quiet. The only sounds were coming from the marching cultists, ettins and gronn. Yulop called a halt; the blood elf could see the Harbor in the distance and see the smoke rising from the battlefield. The fight was almost finished there, with the Harbor Men being the victors. Yulop's reinforcements would change that...if he got there.
The waters had stopped moving and the sky had gone black, but a dull gray light illuminated the ground, causing the trees to cast creepy shadows throughout the marshes. On edge now, some of the ettins and gronn tried to flee, in fact, if you looked at the ground, fish and insects were rushing away from the area. The birds and animals were already gone.
The cultists warily raised their weapons and readied their spells. Yulop himself half slid his sword out of its sheath. A rustling sound and a moan of death seemed to come from above them, but there was nothing there except black clouds. A whisper sounded in Yulop's head,
"Why...have you...forsaken me?"
Shaking now, the Twilight Lord stammered, "My Master...I-I have remained faithful! I o-only l-live to serve y-you!"
"No."
An ettin bellowed, Yulop swiveled, along with his army, towards the pained sound. The ettin was gone, only its footprints in the mud were left. More screams filled the army as death took them. Shadows rushed down from the sky, out from the trees and up from the ground to take them. In a matter of moments, it was done. Only Yulop was left; not even the twilight dragonkin had been spared.
Yulop, shaking, looked around, frantically panting, "M-master...p-please..." the Twilight Lord screamed outright as death came for him. A dull rumbling shook the sky, as whatever had taken the Twilight's Hammer army turned towards Menethil Harbor.

Ohrmuzd looked around, the retrieved a small wooden ladle from the male pirate's pocket. He held it in the fire to clean it at least somewhat, then sat down onto a log.
"Hnngh. Common courtesy requires I offer you to partake of this meal," he grumbled reluctantly.

"My sympathies," Ohrmuzd snorted in a completely unsympathetic manner, all too happy to have the entire pot to himself. The giant ate voraciously, smacking his lips contentedly all the while cussing and hissing due to the stew, unsurprisingly, being rather hot.

Rattling saronite plates and boots made sure no one close by could miss the misaligned night elf as he made his way through the Cenarion Circle post. He was a death knight among druids, and in his unsympathetic mind he knew they hated him and his presence.
With dead, glowing eyes like icy blue wisps he constantly scanned his surroundings despite knowing the outpost was a safe place where respite could be had, though since his heart had long since stopped rest was of course nothing he required. The black, heavy boots trampled anything small enough not to warrant a change of course for the death knight, since animate beings rarely stayed long enough in his path to require such consideration.
He paused in front of a primitive building from which smoke billowed. The tauren who operated the forge grunted a greeting which only received silence in return, and Yaroen deposited a small sack on a nearby slab with a thud. The blacksmith pointed a grimy finger toward a shelf, and the night elf proceeded to retrieve the indicated item with a gauntleted hand. He inspected it - another armoured glove like the one he was wearing, but with a visibly patched spot - and pulled it over his other, previously naked, hand.
Without a word he left the building, stopping outside in the middle of the small street running through the outpost. It was time to find another menial task to perform for some insignificant reward.

Faust smiled indulgently and watched as the albino feasted on the remnants of pirate stew. Forgers only knew what is was made of, and by the looks of it they were evidently the only ones - save a mild and admittedly almost perverse fascination on Faust's part - who cared.

Before long Ohrmuzd was scraping the remnants of the stew from the grimy bottom of the pot; the speed with which the primitive food disappeared down his gullet with quite literally not a morsel falling on the ground was quite a sight to behold, more so than even the negligent ease he had brushed aside the magical attacks with. The giant licked his lips when there was no more stew to eat, stood up and with a mighty kick sent the pot soaring into the sky, in the nearest ship's direction. It was not to make it even halfway across, but Ohrmuzd suspected the pirates would get the message all the same.
"Does the Corpse Eater have a fitting scabbard?" he asked, turning to Faust after watching the pot enter the sea with a splash.

Faust grinned. He made a drawing motion, and from a puff of purple smoke drew forth a sheathe of black leather. Metal fit at the top and bottom, a skull fitted to the end and a spiked metal which would fit snugly against the hilt.

"The bastard! He broke our pot!" Sterling swore, watching the clipping splash and lonely steel bulb bobbing in the water.
"Arrr," Troy cursed, clenching a fist violently. "the bilgerats."
"Run out the guns!" Sterling shouted to a chorus of ayes. "And as for you!" he added over the rumble of cannons being dragged out, rounding upon Troy with an accusatory finger at the suddenly nervous youth. The captain paused and stared at the fresh faced youth's sole visible eye. "...How many of those damn eye patches do you even have!"

"Appreciated," Ohrmuzd grunted curtly, not even bothering with an attempt to hide the fact that he found the scabbard aesthetically pleasing. He affixed the leather harness on his torso so that the Corpse Eater would rest diagonally against his back, the hilt rising above his right shoulder, and was not the least bit surprised when the straps fitted his mighty frame just tightly enough to barely even notice their pull. He sheathed the Armament and headed towards the water. Ohrmuzd was accelerating swiftly, his chest going up and down like bellows as he emptied and filled his lungs over and over again.
He entered the water sprinting; a couple steps and the water was knee-deep. That was when he leaped into the air and in a savagely graceful arc dived, vanishing from sight.

The death knight noticed two distinct non-druids accompanying a third night elf enter the outpost, the latter being a Circle member without doubt. Without giving them further heed he crossed the street and entered the inn, much to the keeper's vexation. A poor customer indeed, the death knight didn't order anything but only asked for information about tasks to be completed in a hoarse, whisper-like voice. There were none, and the tall warrior turned his back to the bar and walked out.
A light desert breeze carefully shifted his whitening, grey hair as he waited outside the building. The trio once again earned his lidless glance; they didn't belong there, just like he didn't, and therefore they were interesting.

A dull boom like thunder reverberated across the empty beach as a solitary cannon fired. Water erupted in a geyser near where the albino had dived below.

Ohrmuzd swam at least thirty feet deep, not in the slightest bothered by the pressure. He registered the cannonball entering the water behind him, but beyond a mild annoyance the shot did not hinder him. The giant moved in an irregular zigzag as if no current flowed, easily fast enough to evade the cannonade. More than once he surfaced to breathe, and was always gone even before the gun crew had the chance to take aim.
His next move was as simple as it was insane. Ohrmuzd unsheathed the Corpse Eater and literally cut out an entrance for himself, the wicked blade going through the thick wood as easily as it severed bones.
When the makeshift hatch was complete, Ohrmuzd punched it and let the water surge into the ship, carrying him along.

Vargariel kept an eye out for Saelyn, but did not leave Maelle's side just yet. Time for that would come when the actual recruiting was to be done, and, Elune willing, they would run into his friend before that.
The Bear's eyes narrowed when he saw a gaunt, grey figure in dark armor at an entrance to the local inn, but before he could examine the source of his apprehensive sensation, they entered the general supplies shop.

The captain, who had been keeping careful track of the albino's journey by his surfacing, stared hard at the giants obvious and eventual destination. "Aw no," he said beneath his breath at the sudden screams of 'we're taking on water!' 'Get below!' and 'It's in the boat! Save the posies! For the love of Light someone save my posies!' Came from their sister ship.

Ohrmuzd shook his head, shrugging off the impact and rising to his feet. He found himself in a relatively small cell, and the water was swiftly filling it. The giant flashed a bloodthirsty grin - of all vessels he just happened to board the one advanced enough to feature watertight compartments.
It changed little in the long run, of course; if anything, this gave him a head start, and his self-imposed task/game of killing everyone aboard before they could drown had just become that much easier. Ohrmuzd inhaled deeply and roared in a challenge, "The bell tolls!"
The hatch sealing off the cell was watertight, alright. This did not mean it was sturdy enough to offer anything resembling a meaningful resistance. One roundhouse kick was all it took to tear it off its hinges and send it across the neighboring compartment, where it slammed into the opposite wall with a wet thud. Ohrmuzd rushed to it and ran his sword through the thoroughly caulked wood. When he tore the Corpse Eater free, the blade was covered in fresh blood.
