"Good idea Vargariel, i'd hate to start a journey on a empty stomach." Lyshalis said agreeingly and noded to the Bear.

"Don't we always end up going through the front?" Zach asked. "It was kind of a foregone conclusion..."

"I could always help," Vanitas said with a shrug. "I mean, spacial anomalies are sort of my specialty. I was getting bored, anyways."

"Oh?" the man asked, wincing at the fluctuation. "Do tell."

Character:
Faust Kaufman, Captain Sterling
Location:
Stranglethorn
Faust turned to follow the albino with his eyes. He raised a brow.
The sharp retort of a cannon firing cut through the air. A moment passed, and the rear cabins exploded in a hail of chewed splinters, glass and acrid smoke.
Character:
Thelradas Whipperwind

"I see..." was all the postwoman offered.
Character:
Tulatin Grimmgear, George Wick
Location:
Ironforge
"What that man said," George added, tilting his gaudy hat up slightly and dabbing at a sweat dampened brow. He paused and seemed to reconsider his train of thought. "...You might want to get that sword out of your friends hand first."

Townlong Steppes
"Regretting traveling with us yet?" Koran asked, a slight ironic grin on his face. "Then again, we didn't realize we'd be up against her so..." He shrugged. "Whatever happens, will happen."
Kiran grunted at that and shook his head, looking down the path that curved to the west.

"So long as I deliver my letter," she said, shaking her mail bag demonstratively, "I'll take on what happens. I took an oath, after all."

"True, true." Koran said and looked around as he saw Kiran move steadily ahead. "Are you sure this is the way to the Garrison?" He called ahead.
The half-elf turned and walked backwards and nodded. "Yes; the scents are getting stronger, and they are coming from that direction." He said, jerking a thumb over his shoulder as he turned back around.

Looking skyward, the night elf nodded slightly. "Seems to be the right direction," she agreed.

"Have you been to the Shado-Pan Garrison before?" Koran asked, looking over at Thelradas.
Kiran kept watch, the hairs on the back of his neck starting to stand up as they went; he could swear that there was someone watching them.

She shrugged noncommittally. "No. But I memorized all the routes that were in the planning stage back when I was in headquarters," she explained factually, tapping the side of her head. "I can be transferred anywhere at any time. So I need to know where I'm going and which stops there are, and with Pandaria opening up we're transferring a lot of personnel down here, so even before I got my mission I had a general map in mind."

"I see." Koran said, impressed. "Normally I just use a local map; I'm fine with memorizing books and spells and the like, but when it comes to directions, I get lost easily." He said with a laugh. Kiran twitched and spun in place, trying to find the unseen watcher, growling quietly to himself.

Thelradas drew herself up proudly. "A map to a member of the post service is the same as a spell book for a wizard or shield to a warrior. It's the most important tool for our job."

"That makes some sense." Koran said and watched Kiran. "What is wrong with you?" He called over.
"Can't you feel them watching?" Kiran snapped back, looking around. "Eyes in the trees." He growled.

Kiran growled and started to take a deep breath. "Damn it no!" Koran snapped at him, and moved to his side. "Calm down Kiran, if these 'watchers' were going to attack us, they would have done so already." He said quietly. Kiran glowered at him, then nodded.
"Come on, let's get to the Garrison already." He growled and stalked off. Koran gave a low exhale and shook his head, wondering what had gotten into his friend.

Despite what appeared to be an attempt at bravado, Thelradas betrayed her unease and moreover, relief at moving on with a flick of her eyes towards the trees and a subtle relaxing of her shoulders. She set off after the two at a quick trot, rigidly keeping her eyes on the road ahead.
No matter what, the mail must arrive.

Xander sighed, starting along the beach as he followed the cliff-face. "Here's hoping there's a way up there."
Locronos
Dalaran
"Glass of liquor. Strongest you've got. Mixed with some Dwarven rum for that extra kick." Locronos nodded.

Character
: Ohrmuzd
Location
: Wild Shore
And a split second later, a truly massive fireball blossomed in the stern, expanding rapidly with a roar and consuming all in its wake. Thick black smoke billowed up through the air, and behind its veil a lone figure surged through the water and towards Sterling's ship.
Character
: Vargariel "the Bear" Chandaris
Location
: Desolace
Vargariel exited the inn. He threw the death knight still standing at the entrance a glance, but did not comment - the Bear found it hard to trust the knighthood of Acherus. He directed his steps to the general store, keeping an eye out for the priestess.
Character
: Jastiel Vorei
Location
: Ironforge
"George Wick raises a good point," Jastiel nodded. "I mean, skulls and bones and black and red aesthetic screams trouble to me, and one of the messiest kind as well. So far Ohrmuzd's been too furious for mind control to work on him, but, you never know, so restraining him's gonna be more trouble than it usually is."
He turned to the phasing boy, "I'm not gonna lie, Van Calen, I need all the help I can get. Come along and take your brother if he's around. Sharksmile is going
down
."
Character
: Isaac Ashwood
Location
: Zul'Gurub
"We're trying and not giving up, it's the thought that counts," Isaac pointed out, fighting a grin. "One day we won't go through the front."

Character:
Faust Kaufman, Captain Sterling
Location:
Stranglethorn
"The devil was that? Did we hit the gunpowder?"
"Captain!"
In a whirl of red and gold lace Sterling spun about. An ashen faced sailor jabbed an accusing finger to the water. Cutting through the swelling waves like a shark was a white figure, made almost luminous beneath the shining waters.
The captain's face took on a similar pallor as the sailor, before shortly making way for a deep red. "Fire!" Sterling roared even as the ship continued to struggle against the wind. "Fire damn you!" Muskets from those crewmen with them cracked and spat death at the figure. A solitary cannon which had managed to be reloaded overshot and a fountain rose in reply, a rainbow flashing into existence before fading a moment later.

Character
: Ohrmuzd
Location
: Wild Shore
After the salvo entered the water, Ohrmuzd threw himself out into the air not unlike a dolphin - or, perhaps, a killer whale. Thin streaks of blood trailed his arms and shoulders where the bullets had grazed him, and yet he seemed to be unhurt beyond a scratch. For the fleeting moments the albino was airborne one could almost believe he was flying towards the ship - and then he dived again, discarding maneuvering and relying solely on his supernatural speed, augmented to great extends by the Corpse Eater.
