: Nicol Balogh
Location

Nicol retrieved the dagger with an elegant gesture, the rosary beads seemingly shortening as the obsidian blade flew back to his side.
"So it would seem," he nodded. "Until we meet again, cousin dear, and my gratitude."
The twice-born watched the transformation shake the lancer in his last moments, until little more than a dessicated husk of a withered old man remained. At least now he did not have to think about draining the other dry.
"To you as well, noble paladin," lord Balogh turned to Miriawyn. "It is not courteous of me to make such a request after your timely aid, but if you do not mind, I would like some time alone to mourn my kin," he added as he began to walk further into House Lindtar.

Miriawyn humbly lowered her head in a meek bow to Andrey. "I will gladly be of any aid you may require in the future, my noble lord." She spoke softly and submissively.
"I see, i will grant you the space you need for your mourning, mi'lord." The paladin said to Nicol and bowed ceremoniously and turned her heel and then began to leave House Lindtar.

Grold
Location:
Grimmwald Sewers
The wolf-man gazed admirably at the massive pile of corpses blocking the sewer way and smiled. There were several new additions, but Grold regretted that Eye, no,
Karlington,
had not been able to retrieve the corpses of the Lindtars or assassinate Balogh. Oh well, there was always next time. Grold smiled again at what would soon be his army.

: Simon Richards
Location
: Grimmwald, Cathedral District
The Fist had only gone around three blocks away when he heard a scuffle down an ally. He stopped, gripping his glaive more firmly and approaching cautiously. The sound of the scuffle grew louder. With a grimace, Simon held up a hand and flooded the ally with light, exposing every corner.
What he saw shocked and sickened him.
It wasn't a traditional alley mugging or attack of opportunity.
It was a predator catching its prey.
A woman lay bleeding from several huge cuts, while other chunks of flesh were merely missing. A large, hunched,
thing
crouched over her, ripping more chunks from the now mercifully dead corpse. Simon gasped, and the thing glanced up, exposing a jaw and teeth drenched in the reddish gore, along with foot long claws. His grip tightened on the glaive and he fell into a practiced defensive position. He put all thoughts of what it was, or of its gruesome meal, instead concentrating on the thing itself. It was only another lawbreaker.
He jumped forward, slashing blindingly fast and ripping a large blackened gash over the the thing;s chest. It scrabbled backwards with a dry hiss, then lunged. Simon contemptuously smacked it aside and drove his glaive through its face with a wet crackle. He withdrew the blade moments later and watched the ghoul warily, waiting for it to arise. The corpse, however, stayed dead.
The one behind him hadn't, though. He heard a scuff of leather on stone and, turning, took a cinderblock to the temple. His head lurched with a sickening flare of light behind his eyelids, and the world went black...

'Jackdaw'
Grimmwald, the Park
The scarecrow-man hurried down a cobbled alley, but to what end he was making such haste he didn't even know himself. He turned at an intersection after gathering his bearings and continued down another narrow road, lantern swinging with his steps to soft metallic creaks.

Character
: Nicol Balogh
Location
: Grimmwald Plains, House Lindtar
Nicol genuflected at the ravaged body of his dear cousin Katrina, the dried blood around her matching the lining of his cloak in color. He picked the corpse up, cradling it in his embrace.
"I was too late to bring you with us, little one," lord Balogh said somberly, running his gloved finger along the young woman's jugular vein. "I will carry that shame. Fear not, though, for you will yet taste immortality."
The twice-born's hand slipped to the woman's chest, peeling away her torn clothes and baring her breast. The tips of his fingers hardened and grew, turning into razor-sharp talons, and he slid them between her ribs, plunging them into her heart.
"Your blood will run through my veins for all eternity, sweet sister. Farewell," Nicol whispered solemnly, closing his eyes for a moment. When he opened them again, there was nothing human in them anymore - two orbs of pitch black stared out of his gaunt face, and in each a cinder blazed with infernal red light. The man with no shadow unhinged his jaws and opened his mouth impossibly wide, his pearly white teeth growing into wickedly curved fangs. With a guttural snarl, he bit into the woman's neck.
Katrina's brain was long dead. Yet, vile sorcery entered her heart, causing it to beat once more - if only for a few seconds needed to carry her blood to the gaping wounds in her throat. All too quickly it was over; Nicol stood upright, carelessly discarding the dessicated, drained husk of his kin. And before it had a chance to fall on the floor with a soft thud, the monstrous lord of house Balogh was feeding again.

And so the black haired and blue eyed paladin, dressed in patemail and chainmail, cape and tabard of the church, exited the House of Lindtar, ignorant of the horror performed by the lord on his kin.
When she got out of the main door she placed her shield on her back and her sword in it's hilt on the left side of her hip.
She continiued to walk back to the road she originaly came from.

Character
: Simon Richards
Location
: ?
Simon flowed in and out of consciousness.. He caught a glimpse of a desolate warehouse, filled to the brim with moldy boxes, but the he was jostled, causing his head to flare with pain and black out again.
When he next awoke, he was passing through a dank sewer. Fungus crawled up the walls and
things
stirred menacingly in the plants below. Something struck the back of his head and he once again fell into unconsciousness.
When lastly he awoke, he was locked in a cell. The walls and floors were made of brick with flaking mortar and iron bars blocked the entrance. Otherwise, the cell was bare, no beds, no chairs, not even a bucket. Simon blinked, trying to make his vision focus, but it took several minutes before he was able to piece his brain back together. He took in the cell one thought at a time, adding his memories to it, until they all came together and he sat bolt upright. He immediately wished he hadn't and almost vomited, though he barely held it back. He flopped back down, letting his throbbing head come back to normal; all the while ignoring the cries and sobs coming from further down the hallways.
Up above, however, a large strip of his tabard, black and bearing just the edge of the white fist, was caught on a lamp post just outside the Trade District.

"That's a deplorable habit," mused Eye. He stood behind Nicol, watching him absently. He gripped his odd spear with both hands. Gone was his old self, replaced by someone who appeared to be in his early twenties. He stood straighter and appeared to be stronger. A mocking smile played at the edges of his lips.

Characters: Secrin Darkness, Hennet Shorn, Darsina Veresh, Lovely
Location: Grimmwald Plains, House Lindtar
Secrin, Hennet and Darsina observed their surroundings. They were in the shadow of a manor, hidden thanks to the power over shadows Secrin had. Hennet turned to Darsina angrily after staring for a few more seconds, "You stupid warlock!" She yelled, angrily, "Now you've got us lost in some crappy old manor, I hope you're happy!"
"It isn't my fault, you know my portals aren't supposed to be used like that!" Came the reply from Darsina, "It isn't easy getting from Darnassus to Westfall you know, even a mage couldn't do it!"
"Calm down, calm down," Secrin said half-hardheartedly, absorbed with drinking in all the death that had occurred within the manor, "There's this guy who died and he didn't have a soul, and he was using shadow, arcane and light magic, by all rights he should've died a long time ago and no, he's back alive, how dare he disrupt the balance of death!" Her pure black eyes were fuelled with rage.
"Oh, be quiet about you're death stuff," Hennet yelled, still angry that they were lost, "We don't care all right, but
I
do care about this useless warlock getting us lost." She pointed at Darsina.
"Oh be quiet, you midget," Was the retort screeched by Darsina.
The argument going on was loud, very loud.
Lovely the Succubus stayed silent and alert throughout this whole conversation, invisible to the world. She'd only interject when something actually useful was said.
