damm man having more than one opition of ur abilities is awesome like having to choose between 2 ultis i cant w8 for this
This sounds so cool. I really like that support characters are a viable play option. I don't like to be in the middle of the brawl, just tweaking from the outside. Can't wait to try it!
An amazing move by Blizzard after all the old DotA players and blizzard fans were disappointed the moment DotA2 was bought by Valve, can't wait to play this game as i a DotA player and have played DotA2, but i would chose Blizzard over Valve.
The game looks really nice (loved the cinematic trailer too).
Arthas at last i can play with you and be the lich king
Sounds like theyre launching it as a different game and not part of starcraft anymore, but as long as its free and make the skins premiums like LoL looks like blizz is making another cash cow!

agree with you on this!
I need to play this game
That HoS trailer made me laugh, really looking forward to play this game
I'm very interested to give it a try. MOBAs are almost oversaturated in the market at this point, so I can hope that Blizzard can bring something different. Typical MOBAs generally have 2 major problems. First, horrible communities. Due to the high skill threshold needed to play and the fact that a new or less skilled character on your team can have a deleterious effect, MOBA players tend to be some of the most vocally vitriolic. Newcomers, or even those who don't know the "correct" in depth strategies etc.. are harassed constantly. Games that are thought to be more "hardcore" (ie DOTA itself, Heroes of Newerth) have even more exacerbated effects and thus even worse communities compared to those that are balanced more around the average skill of the team (League of Legends, SMITE). Of course, as these games are often "Free To Play", that certainly contributes to the lacking maturity level. I hope that Blizzard's focus on the entire team's overall balance, skill, and cohesiveness, maximizing the effect a skilled veteran has to uplift his team compared to a newcomer dragging it down, will mean a more forgiving community. The second issue of note is monetization - Most MOBAs often get really out of hand in this regard. Especially those free to play tend to get carried away and try to milk this for all its worth. All sorts of customizations, including avatar skins, accessories and even some player characters themselves are sold for real money, and not in "micro" amounts! Years ago, buying real money tokens in MOBA were an alternate way to gain things faster than awarding them through play, but it has become the norm to now restrict certain items etc.. to real money tokens only, not to be owned in game! Its bad enough when the ability to earn them through play takes a considerable amount of grinding, but to not even have the chance to do so is frustrating. Most MOBAs squeeze players monetarily for customization/cosmetic items, but I feel it would be better to instead offer conveniences instead. Make earning content, cosmetic or otherwise enjoyable from a basic "free" level, and then offer a variety of "XP Boosters" for those that want rewards even faster, and you'll have plenty of people paying. If items are sold individually, this whole "A single avatar skin costs $5" really has to go. With a huge multitude of characters, costumes etc...there's still ample profit for selling the items at a $1 or less truly "micro" transaction, and it will encourage players to both invest real money ("Hey, if I put $10 in my Steam Wallet or Battle.Net account etc... I'll be able to buy quite a few things) and then play more to enjoy what they purchased. I can only hope that Blizzard resists the urge to gouge prices and instead realizes that a quality, affordable game will keep players coming back time and time again. In any event, I hope I get a chance to beta test this new venture, and that it stacks up favorably to LoL, the current most popular of the MMO scene.
This is going to be huge if it is free to play, it looks so great! Playing illidan would be awesome!
looks very interesting and i can't wait to try it.
:O
<3 HOTS !
I really like the idea of team levels instead of hero levels. It seems like it would encourage teamwork and reduce the toxic environment that can come with MOBAs. Maybe. A little.
Heros of the Storm looks to be a great game.. can't wait till its release. Will have to say that I'm looking forward to a Hogger Hero to play.
Sweet!
