The elven death knight shot Marrosh a skeptical glance. His own weapon, a long and slender claymore of the same black metal as his armour but polished to a mirror-like state and with miniscule runes in flowing patterns, left its scabbard on his back in a fluent motion and entered a ready state.

Amora somersaulted gracefully backwards, having detected the last-minute change in demeanour and utilized the energy of the blast to propel herself in such a way that avoided her twin-blades catching on the hard ground. The bounty hunter landed on her feet, in an unarmed combat stance.
Elsa sprang to her feet, out of range of the blast, and scrabbled for her rifle, taking aim.
Lotti sailed through the air with a shriek, landing on top of Cyrus roughly.
Vashadya's initial reaction had been to go for a shield of her own, sliding back alongside the worg, however the priestess swiftly found Rotha had that base covered. Somewhat surprised, she instead began to cast a shackling spell on Leon, attempting to immobilize his limbs.
Yalira deftly changed ammunition type and loosed a barbed arrow from behind Kimberly's defensive stance, aiming for the perpetrator's rib cage.

Nice switch,
Kim thought in the fraction of a second between the huntress' shot arrow and the impact of the shock wave. Her feet were already braced, her shield held tight and the angle just perfect for taking on such a blast. Still, the force pushed her back, the metal under her sabatons sliding with little friction over the paved stone.
Ivyblight let out a little air through his nose. He was apparently not impressed by such tricks.

With a sheer lack of hesitation, restraint, or common sense; Alana rushed forward, leaping through the air and bringing her swords down in an arc at the demon.
"Still not lettuce!" Tandra shouted, picking herself up from the floor.

"Holy sh--," the spell breaker exclaimed in genuine, well, not quite shock but more than surprise. She tightened her grip on the voulge, renewed her stance and continued to observe.
The death knight was more direct. On long strides he accelerated towards the hostile demon, blade held low and ready to strike in a devastating upward slash.

"Why, hello there!" Cyrus exclaimed cheerfully. The felblood patted 'Lotti' lightly on her behind and drawled, "Might as well get comfortable. Do you by chance have any popcorn?"
Hardcore Jaws sighed. The death knight removed the regular magazine from his pistol, replacing ordinary bullets with consecrated ones. He racked the slide, nodded in grim satisfaction and began emptying the magazine, still aiming into the demon's head.
"
Name yourself, outsider,
" Wilhelm Meyer demanded in Eredun; evidently, the warlock was among those precious few who thought that there were options of dealing with the infiltrator other than immediate extermination. For instance, neither Jastiel nor Lisciel shared this opinion, as evident by their enthusiastic pelting of the demon by jagged ice shards and arcane fire respectively.
Isaac gritted his teeth, biting back an urge to rush at the demon. As it is, throwing oneself into melee was suicidal. The half-Eredar caught a glimpse of Vincent Gaillard rolling his eyes frustratedly and thought that he might not be alone in feeling useless.
Then Alana rushed forward, more likely to get killed by friendly fire than to even graze the demon. Isaac groaned and hurried after the girl in an attempt to intercept her before she got herself hurt.
"We need to act in unison!" Duskhide's mighty roar came over the din of battle. "Flamehowl! Would you recommend focusing all our attacks into one to breach his defenses or rather wear him down by a thousand pinpricks?"

Flamehowl stepped back, away from the demon, and watched. He shrugged at Duskhide. "All together would certainly work, I suppose."
...appears to be a demon himself. While I'm unfamiliar with this specific species, from the accounts I've perused of notable demon hunters, it appeared to be some sort of incubus. A valid choice to serve as an agent, as they are masters of disguise and trickery, though I personally would have picked a dreadlord.
Serenade laughed. "Let them go long enough and they'll eat each other alive," he remarked.

Amora's eyes traced the agent's musculature. He was rather dashing in an exotic sort of way, as far as she was concerned, and about to be equally dead. A throwing dagger appeared in the her left hand, poised to strike a weakpoint in his flesh.
The heel. The bounty hunter threw, the weapon spinning end over end toward a point just above the demon's right hoof.
Elsa frowned with revulsion and kept her mind focused on realigning her shot, finger pressed lightly against the trigger.
An
incubus?
!
"I... I... Uhh," Lotti stuttered in response, distracted and confused, her eyes glued to the demon in a half-frightened, half-hypnotized manner.
The succubus had to have him.
Vashadya began to pray, an ancient prayer laced with magic and words not oft used since the sundering.
"Men,"
Yalira spat in Darnassian, not for the first time, letting another barbed arrow fly at her target's torso.

Ivyblight missed, of course, cutting the air in an elegant, spinning double-slash right where the demon had been a blink of an eye earlier. Luckily - or more likely through skill - neither the blade nor the high-momentum knight himself hit anything else. He landed firmly and turned, awaiting an opportunity to attack again without half the crowd being in the way.

"I need an angle!" Xander shouted at the crowd. His hands glowed a bright gold as he rushed along the room; looking for a clear shot at the demon.
Alana fell to the ground, knives and bullets pinging off her swords as she spun them to cover herself; not wanting to get caught by the friendly fire. The girl was suddenly forced to pause; her blades inches from Isaac. "What the fel?" She shouted at the boy who was very clearly rushing towards her, and not the threat.
Ferin leapt through the air, slamming a hand down and raising a wall of clensing waters; hoping to limit the beast's options of moment.
The Human druid skidded to a stop suddenly, eying the demon in his full through the crowd. Grinning, he spread his arms. "Solar-"
He was suddenly cut off at the sight of Jenna being thrown through the air. Sucking in a sharp breath, he cursed his own attempted chivalry. The glow turned green and Xander slammed his hands into the floor.
From the stone, green light exploded, a curving, malformed tree forming along the floor; stretching along in hopes of giving the Death Knight a landing spot from which she could recover.

We can still be civil about it. If you have an ounce of cognitive abilities, you know you cannot win. Save yourself the torment; why persist in this futile gesture of defiance?
" Meyer drawled - as much as anyone barking the harsh, cruel words of Eredun can be drawling, - and rolled his neck, staring the demon down.
Duskhide threw out his right arm. The vine about his hand uncoiled and surged forward; the druid directed it to grab one of the demon's weapons.
Jaws shifted his aim from the head to the incubus's fingers; the death knight's preternatural agility allowed him to hit even targets so small. Without fingers, Jaws reasoned, the demon would be unable to hold those pesky deflecting claymores.
Seeing the parrying capabilities of the demon and paying them his begrudging respect, Jastiel ceased the salvo of ice shards and directed a stream of frost energy into the demon's ankles.
"Do you want to get caught in the crossfire?" Isaac scowled. "Let others keep him down at range! Get back!"
"Hey guys, if you can't help but murder this sweet ass, can you at least aim for the eyes and leave the rest intact?" Cyrus suggested to no one in particular.

A calculating, predatory gleam in her eye, the attractive blonde watched her wounded 'prey' closely and sent a dagger whizzing toward his left wrist.
That ought to teach the f*#@er,
Elsa thought spitefully, squeezing the trigger the moment she had a
relatively
clear shot. The bullet sped toward the demon's prominent wings, intended simply to harm if not kill.
If only he would focus on her...
Lotti picked herself up frantically, hurling several showy yet
sadly
ineffectual 'fireballs' at the incubus. Not that they would not sear, for she was not opposed to harming him altogether, they were merely weakened by the necessity to cloak them in an arcane aura and exaggerate the appearance of their potency. On the outside it seemed a rookie mistake, the kind produced by practical inexperience and shaky nerves, but it served an ulterior purpose.
Simultaneously a suggestion attempted to worm its way into his mind, one that involved directing the brunt of his assault on the timid-looking young mage.
It was liable to get the succubus killed, but where her survival instincts were concerned it was worth it.
The priestess' eyes began to glow with silver light; the air itself began to hum with energy.
"Ideas?" Yalira asked Kimberly over the sound of the skirmish, by that stage merely sending arrow after arrow at their foe in an attempt to wound him fatally.

William Green
--
William had withstood the shockwave by leaning forward, though he stayed standing his huge body was still pushed back a fair distance.
He roared and drew his warhammer, gripping it farther up the shaft to swing it one handed in the crowd. Roaring again the huge worgen leaped at the demon.

"Depends on how well he's endowed, that's how much gold you'll get," Cyrus guffawed in response to Aetius. The felblood stretched, then finally deigned to rise and participate in the engagement. Similarly to the death knight, Cyrus pulled out a firearm - but unlike Jaws's conventional gun, the Befouler was holding a needle launcher. The nails were laced with poison that disrupted the nerves without shutting them down; effectively, a good hit would leave a limb paralyzed and in excruciating pain. The Befouler licked his lips thoughtfully, then fired at the incubus's knee.
