Ack, sorry for my absenteeism.
Considering the opportunity cost of taking those talents, It may be looking like 5/5 Demo could be the responsibility of a DPS warrior, in a progression setting. Last I checked, Unbridled Wrath wasn't all that special, and they would then have the free talents (in addition to their free GCD's) to spend.
I'm off to consult my guild's physical DPS now.
I thought that a fury warrior would take 8 tier 1 talents: 3x Armed to the Teeth and 5x Cruelty. This leaves only 2 points to spare for imp demo shout without sacrificing things that actually benefit dps.

I swapped back to a concussion blow + vigilance build recently... I'll try macroing concussion blow into devastate or something. I rarely tank anything but raids anyway, so I shouldn't miss the on-demand stun.
When macroing it into something you press often, you need to turn off SFX of course, unless you like "I can't cast that yet" spam in your ears.

30k health is more than enough for all content currently available, except for sartharion 3D. The value of effective health is to allow you to live through quick spikes of damage - you won't ever be able to survive longer periods without healing, so the benefit of stamina drops off somewhat once you have "enough".

*my one exception - I feel that +22 Def is a better chest enchant, since it gets a significantly higher item budget then 275 health.
True, though I still think 275 health is a viable enchant. But on the other hand, I can't understand so many people neglect the armor enchant on cloak. It's very competitive in terms of damage reduction, but also adds effective health. I much prefer that enchant over defense or agility, except when you need the defense for crit immunity.
Generally, I feel like people often neglect the value of armor. It's a really nice stat, since it combines the effects of stamina (effective health) and avoidance (reducing damage taken).

Yakra,
I'm confused by your definition of effective hp. You state that 50% mitigation and 20.000 hp results in 30.000 eh, but a hit doing half damage would need to do 40.000 damage to kill a 20.000 hp target.
I thought the formula for eh would be eh = hp/(1-m) where m is mitgation expressed as a number between 0 and 1 with 1 being 100%
