Looks like broken CSS and/or JS files.
Try Ctrl+F5 (should force a full reload) or clearing your browser cache. Cookies shouldn't be involved here.

I had a same problem. Turning of addblock solved it (which is actually making question, if it is intended, or if they are trying to get some adds through addblock again, which lead to broking whole page)

It's our intention that ads be displayed to all non-Premium users, and we've done a lot these past few months to lessen the disruptive ads that users have experienced in the past (e.g. we're currently using an entirely new ad provider). Since we intend to display ads, users who utilize AdBlockers may notice issues like this because those AdBlockers are actively trying to block any ad from displaying on our site.
Sometimes AdBlockers go a bit too far and block something crucial for the page to display properly or it's entirely possible the user made a manual adjustment that inadvertently affected the page. Regardless, typically speaking disabling the AdBlocker will resolve the problem (if you insist on an AdBlocker, try adjusting the settings or utilizing a different type if you see issues like this).
In summary: we don't break the website for those who use AdBlockers, it's usually the AdBlocker that breaks the site. We encourage users to try the site with ads again, they'll find it much better than in the past, and if they simply don't want to see ads at all they should consider our
Premium subscription for $1 a month or less
; viewing ads or opting for Premium are the two ways to help ensure this site continued to exist for years to come allowing ourselves and the community to continue being a valuable resource for all things WoW.
Thank you!(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

If you have a properly configured script-blocker running (I use ScriptSafe in Chrome, NoScript in Firefox, and Edge seems to block them natively - I don't use IE or other browsers), there's actually no need for an ad blocker to be enabled here. The script blockers do all the work.
1. With your ad-blocker DISABLED, disallow everything on this site via your script blocker.
2. In the script blocker, re-allow the following: wowhead.com, google.com (if it isn't already), and wow.zamimg.com.
3. Let the page refresh, or refresh it manually. You should see
most
of the page loaded normally.
4. Check your script blocker for what's called an "obfuscating URL". These look like this (just an example):
toui45nqoinrin4398n836f9b4r98409nf9n.g00.wowhead.com
5. There shouldn't be too many on the list. I normally see between two and five.
6. Allow the first nonsense URL on the list, then let the page reload or reload manually.
7. If the page doesn't load completely, then disallow the URL allowed in #6, move to the next URL and allow it.
8. Repeat until the page loads normally.
9. Enjoy an ad-free experience.
Personally I use AdBlock Plus in all browsers, and yes, WoWHead did seem to break it with their most recent version push (two, three days ago). Chances are that whoever makes AdBlock Plus will resolve this issue in a newer version; WoWHead likely isn't developing anti-adblock tactics themselves and are just using whatever is industry-accepted. Which means the adblock folks are on to it as well.
If for whatever reason you absolutely insist on using an adblocker on WoWHead today, you will need to find a different one that works, or tinker with settings until the blocker can remain active without breaking this site.
But, trust me, the steps above work, and it's something that only needs to be done once unless WoWHead pushes a site update. If/when they do, it's a simple process to re-configure.

The night of November 9th, a third-party ad blocking group was trying to target certain elements on the page that are used when loading the site. When those elements were removed, the layout exploded. As of the morning November 10th, we've changed some details of these elements so the third-party ad blocking system will not break the layout again hopefully. Thanks for everyone's patience!
