So apparently when I downloaded Blood + I also got the live action Blood the Last Vampire movie... ugh, so glad I checked before I started converting it heh.
Also, currently converting: Blood + and Blood the Last Vampire anime, Sakura War TV and all 5 Ghost in the Shell movies and both Gigs.

Avatar: The Last Airbender.
This ^
Maybe it isn't considered a "true" anime, but I like it.

Ive seen some people here on Wowhead talking about Gurren Lagann as if it was an uber awesome thing. So i downloaded it out of curiosity. Disappointed so far...

Avatar: The Last Airbender is awesome.
First 4-5 episodes are boring.
It really picks up after a certain event though. It's Mecha/GAR though (If you haven't picked that up already...), so it may or may not be your thing.

You clearly haven't seen the part where galaxies are being used as impromptu shuriken.

Wait, what? How do you do that? I have 4gb discs and I can only put, like, 8 eps tops on one disc.Avatar: The Last Airbender. Just..........perfect show. I am still amazed how M. Night could make something so perfect and awesome and turn it into a pile of $%^& down a sharks ass that was in hell made out of dog #$%^.
All live-action adaptions are bad.
Save for a few I think... I mean... there has gotta be something that was done right.
:)
Ahaha.

And here I go lol; big download session:
Armitage Duel Matrix
Elemental Gelade complete
Read or Die!(R.o.D. TV)
Trigun
Makai Senki Disgaea(first game in anime form)
Macross Plus
Baccano!
All of Tenchi Muyo; original, Muyo in Love, the movies, Universe, and GXP.
Also, for those wondering about the converting program I use, look up ConvertXtoDVD; it does cost money... but it's worth it: between the compression(as I said earlier, between 30-40 episodes on a 4.37 DVD disc), a built in burner program(no need for Nero or the like), and if the file in question has options for subs, language choice and the like, it auto sets up all of those.
Edit: Just read Fairy Tail 200.... next arc is looking good.

Gurren Lagann episode 8 was quite good, after a bunch of silly ones. Some more mature scenes, suit my tastes. The kiss scene was nice <3
Its still rather complicated to see anything more than fanservice in the anime, though. Robot transformation scenes with exploding volcanos in the background, plus %^&*s, asses, and even more popping out of every corner :-/ Dont think ill be watching this with my gf.

My top 5 list is:
One Piece:
22 years ago, the legendary pirate Gol D. Roger, departed the world leaving behind the treasure One Piece for any who are worthy enough to find it. He who finds this treasure would be granted the title "Pirate King". Amazed by this news, the young Monkey D. Luffy sets out on a journey to find a group of pirate comrades, towards his goal of attaining One Piece and becoming the Pirate King,it keeps getting better, not many fillers, one of the funniest anime I've seen.
Chrome Shelled Regios - Koukaku no Regios:
story on a post-apocalyptic world about a boy that tried to leave his past of fighting for his life to be able to study at an academy city, may not sound that interesting but its a hard anime to explain, you learn more of their world with each episode.
Beck:
Anime about a rock band, starts really boring but one of the best endings I've seen, also the songs played by the band are even better than the version from the real life bands they are taken from.
Shura no Toki:
Legends tell of an invincible martial art known as Mutsu Enmei-Ryu, an unarmed style that allows the user to defeat any number of armed opponents using incredible speed and strength. This is the story of three generations of those who bear the name Mutsu, and their encounters and battles with the strongest fighters of their era.
Highschool of the Dead:
High School of the Dead is about a group of breasts trying to avoid getting eaten by zombies in whatever way possible. Tagging along with these breasts are 2 of our heroes, Kouta and Takashi. A couple pairs of breasts are even in on the action part when they're not bouncing across the screen like jello filled balloons hiding behind incomplete articles of clothing.Hilarious anime with a few serious moments.

I read up to the 5th volume but I decided to wait for the anime, I always enjoy the anime version more than the manga.
