So SSC tonight? Its not really going to be a gear check, especially now with all the badge gear. Im assuming youre going for Hydros. Just make sure no one leaves totums up or has any DoTs on him as he changes phases. And if you have anough hunters make sure you MD to the tank thats picking him up during each phase and you should be good.
The biggest problem we had was damn totums and DoTs wiping the raid >.<

if you get Hydross... Lurker wil be cake. All Lurker involves is avoiding spouts and killing adds... easy. past those 2 is when it gets a bit more difficult, but not much.
btw... mention the MD thing to your class leader. It will definitely make life easier.

some thoughts on OUR run last night... We had a new lock with us last night (remember how i said no DoT's on phase changes?) who wiped us 4 times on Hydross.............. We were 24 manning him though cuz our uber pally tank wasnt on yet.
anyways we got him down then "thrashed" trash to Lurker as you said =P On Lurker we had a new issue. For some reason when we engaged him EVERYONE on the islands DC'd...
...we still one shot him.
Here's a strat we use that makes this fight CAKE:
place at least 1 mage/lock on every island and 1 other dps. When the adds come CC the one on the left (looking towards the middle) and DPS the one on the right, then moving to the one on the left again.
Place one healer for each Island on the main island looking out towards their island.
Tell your pet to "stay" on the main island and move off to dps adds on one of the surrounding ones. There is no threat table for ppl on the outer islands so go balls to the wall the whole fight. Your pet will not die from spouts (this is why he "stays" on the main island) all you have to do is make sure that you dont get hit with a spout. But you can still DPS while in the water hiding so get to it.
we did this with 10 ppl DC'ing in the fight.

you have to kill all the adds... not sure that this caused your bug but its just so much easier to kill em than deal with them.
As for your pet... Start on the main island THEN tell it to stay. You dont need it for the adds since they can be range tanked. theyll shoot you but thats why you have healers at each Island.
but your pet should never leave the middle island.
as for the LoS issue dont go way under the water... your head can barely be poking out and you wont get hit by the spout and you can keep dpsing... and your pet should never stop dpsing the boss unless Lurker is submerged.

dude... you need to be running ZA on your hunter. Especially if your Shammy is dps cuz your hunter will do more damage... unless youre going for raid utility instead. Most of your gear will come from ZA though...

and most of those items are top 5 in slot...
but anyways thats not even why i asked lol. We clear ZA easily everytime it resets and we're only about 45 seconds off of our bear mounts. All of our tanks and healers have EVERY piece of ZA gear available to them so I think we might out gear you a tad. I would say farm ZA... EVERYTIME it resets... once you can get the timers and get ZA on farm I think everything else will just kinda fall into place. ZA is a very technical raid and requires A LOT of coordination.
