Do you use a router at home? I don't sit behind a firewall, but I do use a wireless router, and you have to make a port correction to allow the Blizzard Downloader through a specific port.

If your cable modem is plugged directly into your computer's network card, then it's probably not a port issue. Are you able to call Blizzard's phone support?

If you can't get the torrent to work, that website has a good list of alternative download sites for every released patch. Be sure to download the right version.

So let's get this straight. Your cable comes in and connects into your modem, and your modem is connected via an ethernet cable directly into the back of your PC? No router, hardline or wireless at all? Just trying to clarify your setup to figure out where your problem lies... Try going
here
(Blizzard Support)
to find methods to make your download speed faster.

Thank-you, Ive added new Ports and im now going to try downloading the Mirror patch. My modem connects to my computer through a USB Cable..?
Same difference, just trying to determine that your modem does indeed connect directly to your PC and not via a router. Good luck with the downloading/patching. I remember last time I had to do it it was a huge pain in the butt and took forever.
