Does anyone know which tree gives the most TPS?
Whichever you can do the most damage with. Death knights do not have any specific 'high threat' abilities - frost presence increases threat generation by 25% from all damage dealt.
It looks like they'll all be pretty equal, though I think blood will have higher single-target threat, and unholy will have better aoe threat. Frost is kinda in the middle right now.
Does not being able to hold a shield make DK's vunerable to crushing blows?
Crushing blows wont be an issue for raid tanks in WOTLK. Currently, any target 3 levels or higher than your level can deliver crushing blows (bosses are considered 3 levels higher than level-capped players).
In WOTLK, only mobs four levels higher than you can deliver crushing blows, while bosses will still be considered 3 levels over the cap. In short... crushing blows are being removed from raiding.
If so would a DK try to gear himself with highest armor you can get and stack stamina. If not would a DK try to stack dodge or parry rating or both?
That highly depends on spec. Ideally, you'll want a good mix of armor, stamina, and dodge/parry for avoidance - along with the defense to remain crit immune.
For unholy DK tanks, stacking avoidance will be extremely important - because any attacks that you dodge/parry, as well as any attacks that miss you, do not consume bone armor charges. This means that any attacks that -do- land will have their damage reduced by 40% after armor, essentially giving an unholy DK with sufficient avoidance levels more damage mitigation than the other specs.
Will Imp icy talons stack with other spells like heroism?
No.

wow, thank you so much, i was looking for a long time for that info, and gave up.
I've also been led to understand that Forceful deflection will be a standard DK ability, meaning that strength will be a good stat as well, providing threat and avoidance in respectable amounts. Straight up, DKs will be using near identical armor to warrior tanks. any stat that is good for them, is good for us.
remember, Death Kights aren't smart, they summon the undead by beating the hell out of the ground. and telling those lazy bastards to get up. we use magic by punching energy till it does what we tell it. and we defend ourselves by swinging as hard as we can at the other dude's sword.
Screw finesse,
yay spelling

If that's the way you want to envision your death knight, go right ahead. Blood spec would be perfect for a mindless sword-swinging abomination =P
Myself, on the other hand... I tend to view my deathknight as more cunning and ruthless. Think sith lord =) Very smart, and very powerful, manipulating people and the environment to her will.

I'm referring to the fact that they don't need intellect, they get spell power from AP and strength :)
