hold on.... let me get this straight... so youre gonna say that Scatter Shot is more viable for pvp than TBW?
like... really?
18 seconds of god mode and immunity to EVERYTHING > 4 sec of cc

Kiting 101
Wing Clip the warrior
Intimidation the caster
Concussive Shot the warrior
Snakes on the caster... hell ANY trap on the caster
2 minute CD on Beast Within... thats 4 Scatter Shots 4 @ 6% base mana x 4 sec= 16 sec of CC
IF
it doesnt get broken at the cost of 24% of your base mana
or
18 sec of immunity and 10% more damage at the cost of only 10% of your base mana.
Youll play how you want obviously... but you asked.
i know which one Im using...

if you couple TBW with Rapid Fire in a raid you get HUGE burst damage... Its hard to say exactly how much youll lose. 50% extra damage for your pet and 10% extra damage for yourself. every 2 minutes. Put that in a long boss fight and thats a good chunk.
for example...
Lets say Im doing a full ZA clear. If I go through the whole place and only use my normal rotation with no rapid and bestial wrath I average about 900 - 1k dps overall. Now if I go through it and pop beastial wrath and rapid fire everytime its up (trash and all) Ill average about 1.3k - 1.4k (assuming I dont die anywhere). Not an exact number of course but maybe that'll give you some kind of idea.
but this "utility" you said your looking for isnt going to be gained with Scatter Shot... maybe to some extent in PvP but not in PvE.
IMhumbleO your wasting that last point by putting it into scatter shot.
