Just got through with it. We had 1 frost spec Deathknight, two blood spec deathknights, myself (unholy spec), and a retribution paladin.
The other DK's were level 61-62, I'm 64, the ret pally was 68. We had no real issues throughout the entire run, and only one death (due to those stupid mines the technicians drop).
Even though we had one frost spec deathknight, I ended up tanking most of the instance as unholy (mainly because I need the practice tanking as a DK, since I'm used to feral druid/prot pally tanking on live).
First Boss: easy as cake, he died in under 30 seconds and never had time to mind control one of us. No heals were used during the fight other than blood auras from the two blood DK's.
I pulled with an icy touch / plague strike / blood strike / blood strike / obliterate. I had unholy blight running at the time of the pull as well, putting four diseases from myself on the target plus diseases rom the other DK's. Had an 1800 something obliterate crit there. The boss died before I was able to get a full second rotation in, though I used a couple death strikes towards the end.
Second Boss: We were all kinda medium-low on health when the pally 'accidently' pulled the switch, unleashing all the aoe packs in the room. Not a single one of us died during those packs, or on the boss, however.
Let me just say that corpse explosion and talented death and decay (via morbidity, 15 second cooldown redux) is FRIKKIN AWESOME. We tore those aoe packs up and only needed a couple heals from the retadin.
The boss got out and the frost DK pulled him, the two of us fought for aggro but I ended up getting it after a few seconds. We killed him before he could cast his first poison circle thingy on the ground (about 15-20 seconds tops and he was dead).
Third Boss: I took out one of the caster mobs and let the other guys deal with the rest while I waited for the boss. I wanted to see how effective anti-magic zone was for this kind of encounter - since the last boss in blood furnace does that "Closer... Come closer... and burn!" thingy with the huge-damage aoe blastwave.
Unfortunately, we killed him before he even said the emote and attempted casting the first aoe... didnt need a single heal on anyone during that fight.
Now for a damage recap... I came out first for damage dealt:
http://i34.tinypic.com/xdbfis.jpgNow, I did come out ahead of the level 68 (he dinged 69 mid-instance) ret pally, but to be fair he was throwing out heals here and there. I am extremely surprised at my damage output compared to the others, though.
Most of it can be attributed to the fact that we aoe'd -a lot-. almost every time we pulled, we were fighting 2-3 groups at once (up to 10 mobs at a time). I was using unholy blight, death and decay, and corpse explosion constantly throughout the run - which is where unholy really excels.
One blood DK was using the warsong howling axe, the other was using hellreaver - both much higher on damage and stats than my hellboar carving blade. The frost DK was using the hellboar carving blade as well, and the ret pally had a 110 DPS green 2handed sword from northrend (combatant greatsword i think?). So... even with my weapon and armor outclassed, I was putting out a hell of a lot of damage as unholy.
If anyone is curious, I was using rune of swordshattering (+4% parry chance) for the run - and with it I'm at about 30% avoidance against same-level mobs.
