well in the crazy off chance you start a dk, why not level herbalism and inscription on that character so you dont have to drop anything? If you arent up for that, then make sure to have one of your characters become herb now and level it asap and save everything you get on a bank alt or in game mail between alts or something. Herbs are gonna skyrocket in price very soon when wrath comes out.

i myself am debating over dropping skinning for Inscription, as it will add an extra glyph from what i hear....
Skin / LW Currently but i am concerned about the cost of skin, its already expensive enough as it is in BC.

From what I know, an extra slot has little meaning if its a lesser rune, but if its a greater it could really help your char. I guess we just have to wait for beta testers I guess :D
/agreed.
i may just end up making my dk a skinner...
wonder how profs will work for them, start out higher, or have to go back to low levels and grind it up.... skinning is by far easier to level than herbing or bsing since skinnable mobs are everywhere and respawn lots faster than herb/mining nodes do.

to be honest... my alts i dont care about.... i enjoy them but my main (the druid) takes top priority. So, im thinking inscription might be nice for him since he is a MT/dpsing feral.

there are gonna be herb bots like there are mine bots now. There are also gonna be people going herb and skins instead of everyone with 2 gathering going mining and skinning.
The only profession with obvious needed gathering you will be able to level with 1 craft 1 gather after WotLK comes out will be leatherworking because the mine and herb nodes will be overtaxed by the bots and 2 gathering, like the mine nodes already are.
Smithing, Jewel Crafting, and Engineering are already broken, alchemy and enscribing are gonna be broken.
So basically your options are gonna be tailoring, chanting, leatherworking/skinning, or go 2 gathering.
Blizzard needs to boost the number of nodes in WotLK. the professions are broken.
well there is hell more herbs then node's....so gone be ahrd to "broken"
try not go same patha s everyone but yeah...mining is hard from time to time....herb will never=)

How I'm getting ready for inscription is literally leveling a new 70 with herbalism and skinning, and storing all the herbs in my personal guild bank until wrath (currently the alt is lvl 57 and I've got almost a full tab of herbs saved).
Granted this might not be the best thing for you, but I can level characters to 70 with about 7-8 days of play time, and I just so happened to not have a hunter XD Your mileage may vary. Some terms and conditions apply. Offer not valid in some areas.

You dont have a hunter?

The hunter in the screenshot is the one I'm leveling. The comment you have quoted meant "I didn't have a hunter, so I decided to level one because they level extremely fast"
