I haven't played a DK, so I don't exactly know if this would work, but I've read a lot about them, and I think with the coming changes to the "Auras" for DKs (The auras work regardless of what presence you're in), I think a hybrid build would work pretty
This is what I came up with, my thinking is that you're able to use your blood runes for DPS and use your other runes for control or use them for death strikes for group health regeneration (One point is in crypt fever instead of 2/2 blood aura because it would increase the HP regen from death strike, increase blood strike damage, and provide some more dispel protection). You might have decent survivability with bone armor and rune tap, and you could contribute to your group with AMZ and unholy presence. You definitely aren't a lolomgsubrogue, but I think in a 5v5 or BG situation you'd contribute a quite a bit to your side.
I'd appreciate any feedback for experienced death knights on whether or not this sounds solid (I know that certain abilities are bugged and doing a lot of damage, but if they're straightened out, I'm wondering how this might compare)
Edit: Since I plan on playing with a resto shaman in 5s, I think this could make having group healing even more beneficial, since it would be split around the spirit link
