I assume this is telling you your boss DPS, so you may be going wrong there already perhaps by using your DPS throughout the whole raid?
Otherwise it may just be the tactics involved in the boss prevent you from attacking all the time as you should be so your dps lowers as a result

ive wondered about this too... according to cheekys i should be doing 1950 dps. I do about 1300 average. With the occasional exception (last night in TK i pulled 1900 on a Sentinel). I believe the spreadsheet is based on a stand and fire situation. Meaning it gives you the dps you should be doing if all things were perfect... you can stand and shoot without interuption. I really dont think the number it gives you as a total matters though... you can still use it to see how certain items boost or lower your dps.
