The thing that I found most annoying with 2H Fury was watching something get hit for 800 dmg, then having to wait 4 seconds for it to get hit again, when it only had 200 life left.
This is why you have execute. Or you could use slam.Slam maybe, but execute? Why would you dump every bit of your rage on your hardest hitting ability to finish off 200 hp? Not only is it complete overkill but leaves you with 0 rage to work with for the next mob, no shouts, no openers, no oh@#$% tactics if you pull more than intended. No thanks, I'll stick with my one handers, leave the burst damage for pvp.

this is going a bit OT, but for me it depends on what i'm doing.
i execute rarely when soloing/questing but always when dps in an instance. soloing, i much prefer to have enough rage to refresh battle shout and open with bloodthirst on the next mob. in an instance, execute is not optional imo (unless the group is way OP).

You're blowing the rage dump kind of out of porportion here.
Am I? The very next person to post agrees. Besides, a warriors dps is laughable without rage, I wouldn't waste it on an execute when there is no chance of dying, its nothing but overkill. The hypothetical mob in question has 200 hp left, the ability hits with a base of 925 and an additional 21 per rage, even at the bare minimum this ability is about 725 damage too much, use your rage elswhere imo.
