Since this site is such a marble of CSS, XHTML, XML and AJAX wonderfulness, I was hoping someone would take up the task of writing a iPhone and mobile device version of the site.
Naturally it would have to be fairly slimmed down with less information, but I imagine that it can be done pretty easily since this site is so awesome as it is. Even a huge ass site as deviantART has a mobile browser version, wowhead.com should too!
I travel a lot and I use my iPhone to browse various forums and wow related sites being the ultimate geek that I am. It occured to me that while I like to browse the forums here it's kind of hard for me to use it on my iPhone. Such an option would be greatly appreciated. A thing that I'd imagine would keep people coming back here.
Whatta ya lot think of the idea?

The main thing that makes it hard for me to use the actual version of the site on my iPhone is the lack of distinction between "hover" and "click" as far as input goes. It makes it very hard to use the menu system.

Huh? I can view it just fine, but navigating down the menu hierarchy requires you to hover on each successive node with children to access its children. If you click it, it will go to the page for that group. There's no distinction between "hover" and "click" on an iPhone.
Did you read my post?

Wow. Yeah I suppose that would do it. Considering how much stuff is dependent upon "hover" on the internet, it seems like there should be some kind of way to do a hover on the iPhone.
