get the "warrior" badge boot item..
it gives more avoidance
There is no such beast. Not unless warriors started stacking spell hit and damage since the last time I checked.
Anyway, my answer would be "none of the above". The
Ring of the Stalwart Protector
will last you a very, very long time, and as you've pointed out there are very viable tanking boots in Karazhan.
When you do upgrade your boots, Righteous Defender. Blue's Greaves are for AoE tanking.

I had a guildie who is buildling a prot set ask me which badge piece to get. Blues greaves has no defense, but a big leap to be uncrushable. Righteous defender boors have no avoidance to get you to uncrushable, but you wont be losing any defense at all if you grab these.. This is how I looked at it. If your struggling to be uncrittable, get the righteous defender. If your uncrittable, still crushable, and can stand losing 18 defense from your current boots, then snag up the other one.
I say for now keep farming for the boots of the righteous path, even if you don't really want them or need them. Heroic shattered halls is both very easy and very fun for a pally, and very fast. It is a 5 badge run, plus there is a strength/stam gem that could go into your ret gear if your building a ret set.
On a side note, I *HATE* people who just automatically get the 100 badge chestpiece over the 75 badge one, or the blues greaves over the righteous defender piece, simply because they cost more bades. There is this one guy on my server who is a complete idiot at being a prot pally. He thought that just because it cost more, it was automatically better in every way. He didn't look at stats at all. They needed a dps for kara so I went on my mage. I knew it was going to go horribly wrong but I just had to see it to laugh at it. 45 minutes to clear moroes trash. They took 2 pally tanks and 1 warrior tank, and 3 healers. All 3 of them being priests. And they still couldn't kill moroes...
