I think these are the questions to answer your question.
1) What is your plus healing now?
2) Do you already have tailoring at 375 (or close)?
3) Are you jumping right in to Kara or planning on heroics for a while?
4) If you are gonna do Kara right away, how many healers, 2 or 3?
Put in your armoury link and that would be a help

Thanks for linking your toon.
You plus heal is really low for Kara (as are your hp).
I would make the Primal set and get your other stuff enchanted. Yes, Kara and badge gear will replace the Primal set, but those pieces will serve you well until you get upgrades. Also, the badges you get can be spent on other pieces rather than the Primal type pieces so your hp will go up... it is really low btw.
Also, use armory to look for upgrades. LowerCity Prayer Book is one that comes to mind as well as the Essence Focuser.

The PMC set will generally be useful until post Kara content. General consensus is that you can use PMC to skip straight into T5 content.
The only major drawback with the PMC set is that it severely gimps your stamina.
From what I have been told by all my serious endgame friends, priests need a little over 7k hp to survive most encounters for Kara and more for later content.
The advice I have been given is to PvP for the
healer mace
and
healer OH
and fill in the remaining slots with the D3 (
Hallowed
) gear or the
Honoured Rep healing set
.
With this setup you should be able to survive enough runs of kara to get yourself geared up enough to cope with heroics, ZA and higher end encounters.
On a side note, and by no means a critisism, it is generally considered that CoH isn't that effective until you have 1400 +heal or higher. This is however open to debate and very much a personal preference. Most raiding priests with less than 1400 run an IDS spec to get the most from their gear as well as offering a handy buff to the rest of the raid group. If you already have an IDS priest in your guild it is not necessary to go that deep into disc, but you may want to look at some of the "cookie cutter" builds in the FAQ section.

Quoted for truth. Stick with Imp. DS for now. You don't really need CoH until you're in T5 or T6 content. Even with 3 healers you will want at least +1200 bonus healing to run Kara (+1400 minimum for a full clear with only 2 healers). Imp. DS will boost your +healing that extra little bit. Load up on your dungeon set pieces, craft your Primal Mooncloth stuff, and get as many lvl 70 blues as you can and then you'd be ready to heal Kara.
