Different encounters favor different classes but overall the most difficult class is which ever one you find most difficult. It really just depends on what you are good at a like to do.

personally i found mages to be hardest due to a really big bunch off spells and a waaaay to short hp^^ but as Zalamabar sais, it depents on the person in front of the keyboard more than the char himself

so there's no class that's harder to manage agro or avoid a wipe or anything?
Hunters, rogues, and mages all have abilities to reduce their threat but that doesn't necessarily make their lives much easier. In high level content these abilities allow them to do a little bit more damage and then drop their threat but if they wait until after actually pulling aggro to use these abilities the raid will die anyway. In less difficult content classes without threat reduction skills might be more likely to pull aggro but they also tend to have enough armor to survive such situations anyway. If you can play each class well I don't think this will make a big difference and if you play poorly then I don't think any of the available skills will really help you.
Who can (accidentally) cause a wipe depends on the encounter. In some cases a single mistake by any single player is likely to wipe the entire group regardless of class. Sometimes if the tank makes a mistake they will die and then the group will die. In other encounters a healer making a mistake will kill the group or whomever is pulling can bring too many new friends or someone responsible for crowd control can let a mob loose to kill the healer and then the rest of the group.
No matter what class you play there will be a time when everyone else is counting on you to not get them killed. Having a healer or tank die is often worse than losing a single damage dealer but the person who makes is mistake is not necessarily the one who gets killed.
If your shaman is your primary character then you can choose to be a melee class, a ranged caster, or a healer. An enhancement shaman might have trouble with fights that require melee to run out of melee range to avoid certain attacks. An elemental shaman will have to watch out for aoe or chain lightning type attacks that kill ranged class or abilities that require everyone to run into melee range. A restoration shaman might have trouble identifying who to heal while still noticing when they need to move out of fire/void zones/other patches of death or keeping the group alive through silence and fear effects.

I see you mentioned endgame so I guess you are looking to do instances and raid etc.
In that case the word hard can be applied to "will people want to group with me"
So my list of hard classes is:
Hunters - loads of people dislike hunters
Ret Pally - Probably harder than a hunter as heavily discriminated against
Shaman - Other than resto not really in demand
Druid - Boomkin, again not in demand
Warrior- Unless you are prot specced you will also be at the bottom of the list.
Want to be loved and in demand?
Be a tank or a healer.
So easiest class to play is:
Druid - can be tank or healer
Pally- can be tank or healer
