I'm not going to list every change that was made here, just the major stuff.
-Bloodworms are the suck now, and (not intended) give you an ugly green puke aura.
-Obliterate was removed from the might of mograine talent, so blood spec DK's arent getting ridiculous obliterate crits anymore.
-Frost is overpowered as all hell now, with howling blast capable of some pretty extreme crits and only on a 10 second cooldown.
-Unholy, as usual, got mucked up even worse this patch than it was last patch. Wandering plague doesnt work while unholy blight is up, unholy rune mastery was nerfed into the ground (both in this and the intended versions) - they should have just kept it as-is. Scourge strike is being changed but hasnt been implemented yet. We still dont get permanent ghouls, and deathpact/deathcoil dont work on the ghouls now for some reason (bugged).
-Path of frost is friggin awesome. It was a new spell added, level 61 trainable, 1 frost rune, instant, no cooldown. It puts a little frost aura at your feet and lets you walk on water. Right now, it's (I think unintentionally) working on EVERYONE around you when you cast it, whether they're in your raid or not. It even works on npc's in ebon hold.
-Death gate now has no cooldown, which was a much welcome change. I can even summon several deathgates at once now =P
-The ghoul no longer has the explode ability. RIP Achmed the suicide ghoul =(

i'm liking the changes to unholy you dont like the new blight?
Havent tested extensively yet, but the biggest issue is that with a cost of 60 runic power you cant use unholy blight on an initial aoe tanking pull.
As i've said before, standard pull for aoe'ing with unholy = Death and Decay + Icy Touch + Plague Strike + Pestilence. That only nets you 45 runic power with dirge, and you're out of runes by that point.
It 'sounds' better as a non-RP-draining ability, but the high cost kills it's effectiveness.
yeah the new rune mastery ability tanks
It's being changed to work off of blood boil in the next build according to GC, which is even worse than the death and decay version now - again, for the same above reasons. You cant use blood boil until at least the second cycle on an aoe pull, and that means you dont get the death rune until the third cycle - which is 30 seconds into a pull minimum. That's simply too long to make it useful.
I heard from mmo corpse explosion now has ranks
Corpse explosion has always had ranks as far as i remember.
ub causes 2 diseases whcih would be easy to use blood boil for tanking. or an obliterate for dmg.
Unholy blight prevents wandering plague from proccing for the duration, and right now while it 'applies' two diseases, the blood plague it applies is constantly refreshed so it never ticks for damage until unholy blight is cancelled. It's a very poor setup right now.
sure you cant have a ghoul up all the time.
say u have a 10 sec rotation usign up all of you runes. now i'm assuming you being unholy will use plaguestrike and or scourgestrike in every rotation. if so then in a minute you can reduce the duration by a minute.
The point isnt that we can reduce the cooldown so as to always have a ghoul out.
The ghoul often 'falls apart' right in the middle of a boss fight, or when you go to solo an elite. Bad timing gets it almost every time, unfortunately - and to resummon the ghoul when that happens, you have to use up a global cooldown and corpse dust - which is still overly expensive.
And now that our ghoul has lost explode, there's really no reason not to make him permanent.
you can reduce it to a 3 minute and 20 secound cooldown. and theirs an ability that allows you to keep your ghoul out for a minute and 50 secounds. this is no hunter or lock class even getting a ghoul named Achmed is an act of kindness. now since i have a beta key i dont know how long the ghouls last on themselves.
Death knights are very likely the closest to a playable 'necromancer' class that we'll ever get. There's no 'rule' saying that there can only be two pet classes in this game, and I dont think three out of ten classes having permanent-pets is an issue.
keeping a ghoul up ruins your death and decay but dont worry u have corpse explosion and UB.
you dont have any idea what you're talking about do you? The ghoul has no effect at all on death and decay.

I just have a few questions about some of the frost spec abilities. I'm just a bit confused b/c of thier wording.
1st) Runic Power Mastery-(increase your maximum runic power by 10/20/30). So does this mean if your DK can have a total of 100 runic pwr (like rage on a warr) this ability increases that pool by 10/20/30? Or once you start generating runic pwr, you start from 10/20/30? Or something else?
Instead of having a max of 100 runic power, you go up to 110/120/130 runic power max. It doesnt 'give' you any runic power, it just raises the amount you can build up.
2nd) Endless Winter-(Your Chains of Ice has a 100% chance to cause Frost Fever and the cost of your Mind Freeze is reduced to no runic power). Does this mean that Mind Freeze doesn't cost rune pwr ever? Just when you activate Chains of Ice or the target has Frost Fever?
They're two seperate effects, read it like this:
1. Your chains of ice applies frost fever
AND
2. Your mind freeze now costs zero runic power
You get both effets individually, they're not linked to each other.
3rd) Blood of the North-(Whenever you use a Blood Strike, there is a 20/40/60/80/100% chance that the Blood Rune will become a Death Rune when it activates.). Does the Death Rune go back to being a Blood Rune after a while or immediately after the attack?
I think death runes last something like 20 seconds before reverting, but I havent tested frost spec enough to give you a definitive answer. I'm fairly certain the death rune isnt 'permanent' - it goes away when it gets used, or after a short period of time.

According to GC it's a new taunt ability for us, but it's not yet implemented in the beta. They have a bad habit of pushing changes before they're complete =/

I don't really keep track with the constantly changing updates. What a death rune? Just a generic rune that can be used for any ability, as opposed to requiring an Unholy or a Blood rune?

So is the new unholy command talent supposed to make it so we can tank better as unholy?
no, it was just changed because the taunt/threat was removed from blood boil, and a new "real" taunt was added - akin to a warrior/druid taunt.
BTW, here's a new screenshot from beta of my character for anyone who cares =P
