S2 stuff is generally better than most kara loot tbh. Plus it has a lot more stamina which is almost as important for a warlock as spell damage, crit and hit. Get the felweave stuff and the + crit from this will have you ready for T5s/ ZA.
Misleading. While a lot of it is better than Kara drops, there are many that are merely equal and the best crafted gear is far better than MG felweave for raiding. Badge gear just makes s2 look silly. The best PvP pieces are, as Juippis pointed out, the spellblade, the necklaces, and the silk cuffs. Everything else is easily replacable.
Apart from 1-2 pieces (shadow damage trash neck - but then the S4 one is better, the prince cloak, maybe the T4 pieces) are all kara really has to offer over S2 aside from badges.
T4, apart from the shoulders, is crap for warlocks. Ritssyn's Pendant, Prince's Cloak, Attumen's Gloves, and Shade's Wand are the pieces warlocks want from Karazhan.
If I was to roll a caster tbh I'd just spam AV until kara, then grind heroics and kara for badges.
Again, there are far better pieces available.
And yep - the requirement to spec destruction is hit capped (202), 1000 damage and 20% crit excluding devastation. The main problem you will find is getting hit capped but if you are scryer get the trinket, get the Cenerion Expedition ring (both of these need exalted however - and for CE rep you need to do the heroics if I'm not mistaken)
Yes, you need to do heroics for exalted CE rep. The Scryer's Bloodgem is available at revered, though - you're thinking of the Seer's Signet. Hit capping isn't all that difficult pre-Karazhan these days... though it certainly isn't necessary.
Also no offense but I find beimba.com a terrible site which hasn't been updated in months and down-marked my mage for being a whole 2 points over hit cap. These may/ may not be useful;
http://www.wow-heroes.com (tells you where you can progress and rates your gear/ gems/ enchants)
http://www.maxdps.com (ranks your gear against what is in game so you know where to get upgrades)
N
Any site like that is going to have its limitations. Wow-heroes is a nice site, though. The data layout is very well organized. Being able to get listings for your whole guild and having the option to throw up two characters to compare on one tab is very convenient.
