So I was killin some clefthoof bulls outside of telaar today, and there's this human deathknight (i'm human as well) that decided to sit and /afk right outside of telaar.
An orc DK seems to come up with the bright idea of ganking the afker, and goes after him, So I run up to the end of the bridge where the guards are, deathgrip the hordie, and use chains of ice to stick her in place... she didnt last long =P

I can't imagine the pull part of it working, but I should think that the taunt works still.
Well, it no longer taunts the enemy, only forces the to attack you for 3 seconds (works like that strike warriors have which forces the target to attack you, i forget the name right now).
I think the pull works on everything except flying mobs now, but i havent tested it on anything of significance.

I wonder if you could jump off a cliff and Deathgrip someone off the cliff, then pop a slow fall or sumthing ^.^ would be fun at any rate.

I imagine Deathgrip will be one of the most fun abilities in the game, and is one of the greatest reasons I plan to roll a DK.
Since from what I've heard it seems to work on any mob besides flying things including instance bosses, it would be great if this would work on raid bosses too...
Deathgrip + Ragnaros = MC Implode
It would be really cool if you could use this ability on people of the same factions as well (Only people in group / raid to avoid massive abuse) for pulling them out of harms way
If you could do that it would lead to a very intresting combo as well, Imagine two Death Knights go to Lumber Mill or AV bridge - When an enemy approaches one Knight jumps off the edge and uses death grip on the person, pulling them over, then the Knight still left on the bridge would Grip their friend back up to safety.
I kinda doubt that will happen, Maybe a differant class will get a reverse Death Grip for helping friends though.

cant use it on allies unless you duel them (someone made a post on the beta forums saying that they fell down the well in dalaran and got 'stuck' - since there's no way out - and they had to duel another DK to get pulled out).
It also only works on targets that are able to move themselves - it wont work on something rooted/frozen, it wont work on CC'd targets, and it wont work on stationary mobs (like ragnaros or the burrowing worms in hellfire).

Well, that's logical I suppose, if a bit dissapointing.
So it sounds like the effect Death Grip has is largely based on the movement capabilities of the target, If something is Dazed does he get drawn to you slowly? And if so does the reverse happen if their moving faster than normal?

Im not sure about the dazed thing, but right now there's a bug where if you cast chains of ice on a target and then immediately use deathgrip - they fly up into the air and float there, moving very, VERY slowly towards you through the air. If you've got ranged damage support, you can kill them before they ever land.

Ok, so it sounds like movement affecting things will change deathgrip, but it also seems likely that it won't in the immediate future because that doesnt make much sense (He cant walk very fast and therefore I can't pull him through the air very fast?)
