I've been trying to do the same thing with my Enh Shaman. Been trying a couple of differant group make ups. The one that has given me the most hope at this point is actually a rogue/rogue/enh shammy combo. Pure DPS. I kinda play bait. People seem to shy away from me due to my totems which allows the rogues to single out the healer (if one is present) and burn him fast. They have thier CDs timed to coincide with each other so the healer doesn't stand a chance. As soon as the others turn to help the healer I charge in. Still working out the kinks but it's done good so far. Best week so far was 12-4.
Hope this helps and I look forward to seeing a lone shammy on the other side of the map! xD

if you have a great rogue you can do well. but most rogues that i have found go to a resto druid because its easy for them.. lame i know. I would say 3v3 with a warrior/resto druid. warrior with wf is scary and druid cc on healer with great burst damage owns. just make sure that the warrior fears at the right time and the druid roots any rogues

Yo
I have run a very successful 5's team that I like to call "The Trifecta"
it's triple melee with double healers.
MS War, Rogue, enh shaman, disc priest holy pally.
Also I have run enh shaman, ms war, and resto druid succesfully on threes.
couple of things that are important for the 5's.
The War must be sword specced.
almost always the enh shaman or the disc priest are focused.
work it out between the pally and the priest before hand if they are going to use pain suppression or bop first. I suggest BOP.
second as the offense is mainly melee it's good to charge the other team.
third we found it a good idea to split dps and put shammy and war and situation permitting the disc priest on a caster dps on the other team.
put the rogue on stun locking a clothy mage, lock or priest usually a good idea.
blood lust early. and purge like crazy if you need too.
another thing we liked to do when we charged in was hammer of justice one of the other healers.
have the war intimidate shout early, followed closely by physic scream.
if you don't kill some one right away don't worry about it war's and rogues don't run out of mana if a eleshaman or a mage or a boomkin is lighting one of your guys up you can off heal during burst while the other melee beat the crap out of one of there guys.

oh and as the shaman make sure you got a macro to use a shield if you are focused.
