I come in peace
As much as you hate me being a Rogue I decided to go ahead and begin a (ALT) Warlock to feel your pain (kinda, lol)...so bare with me with my noob questions in the long run! I am about to hit level 10 here shortly and it has been nothing but fun so far which is exactly what I felt when I played both my rogue and hunter
I'm looking for a point spread leveling guide either Affliction or Demonology which ever works fine.Like I mentioned before I have a Rogue & Hunter so I can pretty much can adapt to either side of the field.
I'd also like to know what Addons you use that has been useful to you. Obviously a timer would be great and currently I use "ClassTimer" addon for my rogue. Anywhoot.. I'm reading the stickies now so if I'm asking a question that has been mentioned there then I do apologize. Other then that I'm looking forward to being friends! :)

first of all... wellcome to the darkest side...
Affliction is fine. I grow up as affliction and it a jack of all trades spec. I could pvp a bit I was farming non stop, i could even kill elites with the help of a void. My advice is to test all specs to see what has more fun for you but what i read here and there is that affliction is the starters way.
Addons. Necrosis! everything a lock needs. Anounces for shadowtrance unfearable targets banishable targets enslavable targets. Soul shard managment, cool speeches (althought they are getting boring after a few days :P) and a few more buttons to the gui (trust me youll need them) and last but not least dot timers managment.
i also use instabolt to wake me up when a shadowtrace occurs.
have fun as warlock. Youll pawn rogues you know till mid 60s. Then youll have some problems untill youll get dressed.

A/S/L?
Most of what you'll want is in the stickies. Drain Tanking addresses most of the leveling issues (the answer is affliction, btw), and Getting Started is more of a general FAQ.
Addons - I'm sure you have a threat meter by now. A casting bar mod such as Quartz, a dot timer program, and you're set.
