if you havent noticed ALL spellcaster trees (except balance druids) have been changed to +3% hit max from talents
check out affliction warlocks: 10% --> 3%
arcane mages: 10% --> 3%
elemental shamans: 6% (elem) + 3% (resto) = 9% --> 3%
destro locks: 0% --> 3%
druids remain at 4% and gain +3% with imp faerie fire totalling 7% from talents

something like Moonglow.
Priests also get a total of +6% hit with the new Misery. It should also be noted that, because Misery is passive, it comes at no DPS cost. Keeping iFF up will lower a Moonkins overall DPS.
not by a lot. FF lasts 40 seconds, if its a trash mob, then you would only need 1-2% hit from gear to be at 99% hit. cast it right after the tank pulls and the mob should die under 40 seconds (you have to wait a few seconds before you start dpsing anyway, and its a good rotation to do FF, insect swarm, moonfire, and then start casting starfires). besides if wotlk uses the current spell hit cap (16%) then druids will have to find a lot less gear that has +hit, and therefore enable them to spend item budget points on better stats such as int, spellpower, or spirit.
on a boss fight, maybe, but one global cooldown every 40 seconds is really not a huge loss of DPS. like i said your items will be optimized for harder hitting/longer lasting anyway because you dont need as much +hit as the other spellcasters.

something else to notice... the New VT.
it blows imo.
.5% mana regen for everyone in the raid while you are dealing shadow damage?
instead of 5% or 2.5% of the shadow damage you deal to the target is returned to the raid as mana...
this meens a preist will now gain 30.5% mana while casting - up from 30%. . . inestead of leet shadow-mana like it is in TBC right now.
zomg blizz you have helped us so much ty.
not.

not."...up to 10 party or raid members to gain 0.5% of their
maximum mana per second
while you are dealing shadow damage..."
So with just 1 cast of VT 10 people of your raid regen 7.5% of their maximum mana. Nothing to do with mana regen through mp5 or spirit and nothing to do with Meditation.
