Yes, that's what Appraiser is for. The tooltip can be configured to show information from the various pricing models that Auctioneer calculates from the configuration page somewhere.

You need to do a couple things to make auc advanced do what auc classic does.
1. You need to set a default pricing method (I believe it's configured by default to use fixed price, which is why the bid/buyout prices aren't automatically changed). I suggest setting it to something like market value, and then turning on match price.
2. You need to set what pricing modules you want shown in your tooltips. The options for these are under each specific pricing module.
That's about it aside from customizing your markup and undercut values.

Easiest way is to just go to the AH open up the AH, go to the appraiser tab, and hit configure.

... Okay.
To get the appraiser tab working:
1. Go to the auction house and pull up the AH window.
2. Go to the appraiser options (should be there by default)
3. Go to Default Pricing Model and change it to the model you want to use (I use "Market Value" as my primary and "Stats:Classic" as my alternate)
4. Make sure "Use Matching by Defaultt" is on.
To get item info in your tooltips:
1. Click "Stat Modules" on the left
2. Go through each stat module and check/uncheck what you want it to show in the tooltips.
