It's up to you, not all things craftables are in the beta at this time so you cant really make your choive yet.
Engineering will give you a cool mount (we think) and other "fun" stuff
Blacksmithing will probably give good weapons and armour (though some of this will be BoE)
For Fun, i'd say Engi.
For Gear, BS
For Money, BS (imo)

Eng is more fun. Go eng.

Don't make a decision until you see what all the craftables are in Wrath. You've invested a lot in BS to just give it up, and you don't know what's coming up that may make that investment worthwhile.
Of course, if you're rich you could drop mining for engineering and just buy your mats :P (or level an alt with mining to supply the mats)

if you hadnt built up to that point in blacksmithing id say go engineering, but the amount of money and mats youve put into it by now, from what recipes ive seen for the expansion, stay blacksmithing.

Blacksmiths are also supposedly able to add sockets to their own gear. I'm still trying to figure out what professions to get with my deathknight but I have no clue what items will be out.

Stick with BS-
especially
since you've put in the huge effort to get it this high. If looking to WotLK is important in your decision, factor in that for the first time in WoW, Blacksmiths will be able to craft BoE shields! That'll probably be an excellent money maker, as well as be handy in gearing yourself/guildies.

(Given these actually make it to release...)
