A situations i'd like to share:
Heroic Violet Hold. Me healer; A warlock DPSer from my guild leading the party. We're both decked out, and all we want is the daily. So, he gets us a full party. We get a paladin, a warrior and some other DPS i can't really remember. Then we begin the event. As the first trash wave comes, someone says theis beautiful line:
-Who is the tank?
... Yes. We had no tank. I don't know what happened exactly, but either the paladin or the warrior must've told him they were a tank and he invited without checking.
/sigh...........
(We got the first boss to 10%... lol.)

What happened to Mynnas is just horrible... It´s funny how some DPS think they know everything and may do and say anything. Healing is tougher and has more responsibility than DPS so I don´t take stupid advice from stupid people...
Unless I come up with some kinda martyrdom attitude! Healing all the little kids into maturity, lol. It sure is a challenge. I sure will have an attitude while I heal from now onwards. This thread has been very useful to me. ;-)

3. DPS must know the healers 1st priority is to keep the tank alive --> so no overaggroing!
4. The group should try to protect the healer
This is why we have fade
5. When someone says MB, you wait before pull
6. If something goes wrong, there should be no blaming but constructive analysis on what went wrong and a new plan to fix the problem
If you have enough good gear you wont go oom. 6th one just wont work as dps is allways "WTF?" after they take 10k dps from whirlind or something and happen to die
<br>
Fade, while helpful, only reduces aggro, it is not an aggro dump. Many a time I've hit fade while having aggro... only to STILL have aggro (typically because DPS is not doing their job, like on the final boss in H Azjol Nerub)

Every moment in a PUG with DPS that can't control their threat. Even more so on and end-game raiding geared pally tank.
Mages: you get two-shotted very easily. If you get your hind end squished because you want to go lolnuke crazy, that's on you. Don't cry that I can't heal you before you are a lump of cloth on the floor.
This. QFFT. :iagree:
Even an under-geared tank doesn't suck as bad as DPS that just can't get a handle on their aggro.

Last night I tried my new attitude for the first time in a 5-man dungeon - and it worked! I was the tolerant glue that held the pug together. When I warned about mana break and they didn´t wait, rushed forward, and a mage died, I just stated: "Oh, I´m sorry, but I wasn´t yet there to heal..."
I never accused anyone and didn´t let myself get frustrated despite the pug was rather horrible. Other members of the group started to give advice to the tank: "Wait!" As time went by things started to go smoothly.
Not a single wipe!
It is a challenge to give advice in a manner that people listen to you. Sometimes players just don´t KNOW or THINK about how to deal with healers. We have to teach them, I think.
Arrogant attitude is the thing I don´t tolerate. Other than that - from now onwards, I´m fine.
