I just saw the 9.1 and 9.2 episodes, i never watched project lore before
not to critical or anything, but to me it was just kind of annoying.
i mean they get confused with the talents and stuff that blizzard implemented in beta a while ago, i would think maybe they would know about this stuff if they like the game enough to make videos about it (like they didnt know about the built in threat meter, or the shaman ability tidal force) it also seemed a bit scrubbish when they were taking 2 minutes to find out when to pull the 2nd pull, with the patting guy going back and forth (the first pull in the room with the skull fire furnace thing)
I dunno, does anyone feel the same way?
and lol, the shaman healer is the guy from Icarly, i know this because i have a younger brother who watches it, and when i thought to myself, hmmm this guy sounds familiar i wikipedia'd him and it said he was the guy in project lore, who knew eh?

The appeal of the videos stems from the fact that the players aren't the best players in the world. They're just a bunch of people who are quite similar to a lot of WoW players... They enjoy the game, but they're not elitist in any way. They just show some content and make some jokes and try to make the videos enjoyable and relaxing.
If you don't like it, don't watch?

They most likely just got into beta. Aside from that, I really doubt they extensively play other than to make these episodes.
How dare they get confused about new content barely anyone's done yet! Those noobs should be able to figure everything out instantly.
/sarcasm
-_- Watch the other episodes before you make a judgement in whole.
and yes, Jerry Trainor does play WoW. Who would have guessed?
EDIT: Don't forget, just because the information has been released on certain spells doesn't mean they will instantly know how to use them effectively. Like Synegh said, they're just players, not Gods.

I personally see nothing but a big commercial. Only useful to attract new customers to buy WotLK. Some really bad acting, too.

And all TV shows are excuses for people to see commercials. I don't see the problem. They entertain me, I watch their adverts. It's a fair deal in my opinion.
I mean that the entire show is a big commercial which I find not amusing at all.

I personally really like what they're doing. And honestly in regards to that comment about them not knowing whats going on with the beta talents - let's think for a moment, those talents are still being changed... so that could possibly influence that don't you think? Now, in regards to the advertisement comment, if your watching Project Lore you already play WoW or you have an interest in it already... so it's not like it's the first time you've heard about it.

The video almost appears to be old.. the spirit link animation in the video is the one they used months ago.

I agree that the whole of Project Lore is intended to be for the casual player but I expected to see more little tricks involved. Like I play a well seasoned tank most of the time and there isnt a pull in a 5 man that I dont have a strat set up for. Like knowing what mobs you can tank with spell reflect, or what mobs put up buffs that are amazing to spell steal.
Take the third pull in Heroic MgT, 4 mobs, a blood knight, a warlock + imp, a mage, and a melee guy that throws glaives and puts up anti magic (I memorize them by looks rather than names >.>). A constructive walkthrough would tell you the blood knight casts a slow heal that gets interuptted and also puts up a seal that can be spell stolen for a nearly 200% damage boost but sheeping with the seal up with auto-break said sheep.
Stuff like that would really make them worth watching for people a step beyond casual players.
