i know this may sound like a strange spec. but what do you guys think of a
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bxxMuhMxMGsZbZVMGdMuo
?
some of its strengths/weaknesses:
Strengths
-Nice anti interrupt and critical hit responses.
-Balanced melee/caster answers
-Able to get great healing possibilities
-Nice surprise effect - silence and VE from non-shadowform with all those deep discipline talents are not common.
Weaknesses
-Tough extremely effective on a 1v1, for larger groups this build is strange and weaker.
-Trying to get the best of two worlds, makes you good on both but not even close to excelent in any of them.
-hard to master, making your playstyle a bit awkward.

I agree about the cheaper insta-cast spells should be also abridged by my spec, and i gotta tweak it over time, but i disagree about the worth of 3points on spirit, since it is easily dispelled or spellstealed. ***Assuming that the dispelling classes - Hunters, Paladins, Shammans, Warlocks and Priests, and spellstealing class is Mage, 6/9 classes can make this buff obsolete, and past-2000rating i'd say you wouldnt take much profit of IDS. Same goes for improved fortitude tough that one is cheap enough and i'd also agree that it can be usefull. Tough 1 point for DS is not that bad, as the buff disguiser, but i wouldnt take improved.
The loss of Pain supression is by far what i most regret. but to get VE and Silence i have to give up from PS... And i wouldnt consider Silence situational, neither Vampiric Embrace. Why? Because silence is a counter to any healing class. 4 classes can heal. As an extra it counters locks and mages. 6 classes out of 9. Vampiric Embrace may seem strange since you cant do that much of a spectacular damage, but its an extra for 2 things: its another thing that needs to be dispelled by the enemy, and it is incredibly cheap.
And thanks for your advice, i'm gonna make some changes most likely to get mental agility :)
***edited, forgot warlock's felhunter.

I love playing specs like this. They're a refreshing change (and challenge) to play. Have fun!
You said it all. ^^
