I really liked QuestHelper as it showed me where I can find the mobs I need to complete a quest, but for some time, QuestHelper seems to be broken or something as when I start using it, the memory usage gets higher and higher and at some point the game goes sluggish.
I'm trying out Lightheaded for sometime and the Comments from wowhead + Linked Coordinates help a lot. Still I wish QuestHelper was working nicely.

QuestHelper is nice, but it can be infuriating if you don't look at your map to see you aren't running into a mountain, don't ever double check, etc.
Also, it's a suck on memory.
That being said, I use:
QuestHelper
LightHeaded
TomTom
WHDB (When QuestHelper proves to be wrong)
& DoubleWide.
Everyone has their own preferences, however. Research all addons beforehand to make sure they work for your needs.

I use TourGuide too and it really helps you lvl faster. Make sure you use TomTom with too.

Get lightheaded too, that way you get exact coords for most of the quest npcs.
The default guide has a few issues though (mainly in the later levels), but it shouldn't be too hard to work around.

Tourguide is the actual leveling guide addon.
Tomtom is basically cartographer waypoints, but without cartographer (I find that it generally works better than cart's waypoint plugin in general). Also, only tomtom is fully supported by tourguide
Lightheaded is basically a wowhead-type database but ingame (it's a rip of the npc locations and wowhead comments). If you have lightheaded installed tourguide will automatically waypoint you to every single quest giver automatically (rather than just when the location shows up in the notes).
Keep in mind that tourguide isn't perfect. It's relatively new compared to a lot of the paper leveling guides so it has a few mistakes (missing quest accepts, waypoints sending you to the wrong area, etc.)

Believe it or not, the tourguide leveling guide is more or less Joana's guide (at least for horde). The only difference between the two is that the tourguide has it's own original comments in it because the joana guid is 'copyrighted' (You can't copyright a process or series of steps, so the only part of the guid that's copyrighted is the comments/wording).
The only issue is that because tourguide is more precise in game than joana's (ie. tourguide actually points you to the npc and tracks the quest id's etc.) there are a few more bugs in it.
Having used both, they're more or less the same thing, and if you're willing to play around with tourguide's guide files you can customize it into your own perfect guide with your own comments, and bug fixes.
