so, wait. ALL toons get glyph slots eh? i thought it was just scribers. Thats cool.
Any word on minor glyphs to change cosmetic things?

The only minor glyphs that I know of are the druid ones (to change the look of cat/bear form) and the mage one (to change poly into a penguin model).

From what I understand, Scribes will receive one additional Glyph slot for being an Inscriber.

I can only hope Rogues get interesting minor glyphs. They are meant to be subtle, cosmetic changes to abilities. (I'd love to Shadowstep in a burst of shadows or flames for one idea)
I play beta and ptr...glyphs are hard to come by if you aren't a scribe...but damn fun!
I'm currently using Glyph of sap and gouge. both are amazing. it's hard to pick just 3 from all we get.

I think the reverse question is that one that is being asked on PTR " where are the special inscribe-only items". Most other professions are getting a bunch of stuff only they can use, so far inscription only gets the 1 upgrade.
I also think only rogues so far have much to consider. Most of the other classes inscribes are kinda lackluster. Some have drawbacks.. like I think the moonfire one is " increases the DOT damage of your moonfire by 90% but decreases the initial damage by 75%". I'd rather they just did scripts like "increases the dot damage of your moonfire by 20%"... the mage frostbolt one increases the damage slightly, but removes the movement debuff..

because I find it hard to believe that Mageroyal will be used to make glyphs all the way into the 400s
It would be first time Blizzard made something right. Doubtly, tho... I'll believe in it only if it hit live.
Think about it: Right now ANY lover level materials are sub-par. They ONLY good for few who raising prof from scratch. Is that fair?

to make it CLEAR
major glyph= glyph that change playstyle or effect of skill (
backstab
)
Minor glyph= minor effect and most of time just for fun or not game breaking of skill like (
sprint water walk
you got 3 major glyph and 3 minor glyph at 80 and inscriber can put one extra major not minor

I was wondering if anyone knows how much someone that is not an
Inscriptor
will benifit from it..
Will all toons have the 6 standard rune slots? Which glyphs are exclusive to
Inscriptors
only?... and so on... Wondering if its worth getting if non-
inscriptors
can still reap most of the benifits...
Thx in advance..
The term is Scribe, not inscriptor, inscriber, or inscriptionist. Get it right. Thx in advance.
