Pretty sure it was meant as an "oh crap" button for escape ability. It's not meant for us to be a new CC class. Especially with roots usable indoors, there's plenty of CC on other classes. I say let the other classes do it, and let us focus on killing things. ;)

Giving a Shaman some sort of CC is allready a huge step. I'm pretty sure we will see some chances over the months coming.
Look at the Hunter's Freezing Trap....Used to have a 1 min CD and only lasted for 20 secs, it couldn't even be used in combat. I remember the old days when I tried to find a grp for Stratholme and got declined because they needed CC. Now look at hunters, they are 1 of the best CC classes.
So I'm guessing noone should panic over this ability. Time will tell if we should though :p
