Srsly.
Just a "news duck" if you ask me. I don't know the English expression, but it's a common expression in Norwegain (from german Zeitungsente) for a made up story that newspapers use to get people interested or just raise their eyebrows a bit. The
fact
(?) that US government were planning to spy on players inside WoW is an old one. Several years old to be honest.

Having studied some military intelligence I can tell you it's probably true that someone developed this theory as a way of pointing out a weak point. The truth is that Al Qaeda wouldn't want to use WoW as a means of communication and even if they did all they'd have to do is make a guild of just their members and talk in Guild. Reality says that there are much more efficient and simpler ways to send a secret message, which are more secure.
Especially since Blizzard probably monitors guild chat, at least I've always thought they have.
But what if Blizzard is a terrorist organization...CONSPIRACY!1!one!
Blizzard monitors and saves everything you do, including EVERYTHING you type.
Oh, and they look at every other process running on your computer, too.
Seriously. Am I the ONLY person who reads the ToU?
